So I've been doing this old school ambient techno thing lately. I know it's long but I reckon it's got enough changes to carry it the whole 9 minutes while still keeping the same whatever throughout it. Well I hope.

Gotdem thoughts?
Nice sounds! I kinda wished you evolved the percussion a bit.
I love old-school ambient techno.
I love it! I usually stray away from songs that are too long (too long being more than six minutes) because I most of the time just get bored of them after five minutes or so. I was pretty surprised when it ended because it didn't feel like nine minutes at all.
The athmosphere is really great, the synths are awesome and it provides enough progression and change so it won't get boring. Like T.F.W.O said, I wished that the percussion would evolve a bit more.
Alright cool, I'm sorta interested in amping up the percussion a bit and also getting in some harmonic vocals, but I don't know how realistic the latter is
This is awesome, great ambiance and atmosphere as well as composition. What do you use to compose your music?

Thanks!
Korg Microstation, some iPad-based synths (not really much anymore but occasionally I'll use them for a specific sound because some of them have really nice engines), and audacity. Well I also record stuff to sample later on a pcm recorder, like for background soundscapes, speech or for a weird percussion or just something to mess with later.

Oh I should mention I did an updated version of the track to spice up the percussion a bit and added some other minor things. I'll be uploading it shortly. In the process I had to update audacity because I guess I haven't changed versions since 2006 or something and it got to a point where it was crashing when I hit play. Wow it's changed a lot! Mostly it isn't slow as poop anymore, which is great!
