-snippin' this shit-
Well personal opinion here, We (I) can't really judge a logo without information on what the logo is for (Correction: I don't mean the logo itself but rather what it stands for). Its a website that much we (I) know but what type of website? Gaming,Food,Knitting?
Plain text is sometimes boring, escpecially when all that has been done to it is a outer glow. Along with that, the red is too eye-raping. I added some variation in color, used a diffuse glow on it, a overlayed inner glow of the color red, and desaturated the final product. May I suggest making yourself a small image, that could be used at a quick glance to identify your company by? Then add it to the text somehow? Like facepunch's is that...face.
It looks a little gimmicky. Idk, simple and clean cut seems to be the in, worn and "badass" out. Stuff like that seems to be what grabs people's attention these days. I know it's shitty, but I'm just trying to give an example.

The K and Y still look wrong
The K and Y still look wrong
yeah, i might change fonts but im not sure yet
I would say don't add a background to the "logo" just yet. Get a solid black and white design down before you go on. [editline]05:32PM[/editline] I think a cleaner non pixel look is much nicer.
I like the second logo, but it seems like the bottom of the curvy-end pieces juts out at the bottom by a pixel or two. Also, the left hand side of the bottom of the black bar in the second logo isn't exactly even, it slopes downwards slightly from left to right.
Smeetin's first one is the best but the kerning is fucked on it.
K, well, I'll make the changes and send the file. Do you have the capabilities to open it in .ai format? Or should I make a .psd [editline]08:01PM[/editline] I noticed the kerning issue, was just waiting to see if I should bother changing it.

K, I'm working on it, just noticed something screwed up when you scaled the font, so might be a tiny bit, but should be done today. [editline]FINISHED[/editline] --DONE-- LOGO: DOWNLOAD (the file is in Legacy Illustrator 10 format, should be compatible with whatever) : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WISL1LGX P.S. If you don't mind me asking, what is Stickybomb the website going to be? (Gaming related I'm assuming.)
