Wasn't there a stream where they were showing Season 3 gear?
Do people even play this game anymore.
Do people even play this game anymore.
The game seems to average around 2k-3k players on Steam alone. Not sure how many people play not on Steam though.
seemed lively the last i played. their better be a highlander or queen reference for the highlander.
this was sorta like closure for me. didn't watch the videos cause this game doesn't interest me at all. it's such a shame cause it had so much potential, but as always, people will cheese whatever they can to grab all the advantage they can, and ubisoft didn't put enough mechanics in to prevent this and make fighting actually enjoyable. game isn't fun when everyone you fight uses the same 3 movesets because they're the only movesets that are effective for their character. I main Orochi, and his 3 movesets are Top Light (twice), Zone attack and parry into grab into heavy. I refuse to resort to those 3 movesets over and over because it makes the game boring for me. as a result, I end up going against opponents who just sit defensively and wait for a parry chance and never attack first, or they'll spam really quick moves that are hard to block. I wish the game had these issues fixed, cause it can be a real gem.

Whenever I got into a fight, it was really intense and a blast to play. Unfortunately after two weeks the game was really dead for me because most players figured out the combos that are hard to counter or deal with. Making it just frustrating and annoying. I liked it way back on release when people were still figuring out things and each fight felt more varied. Haven't played in a while and I would try it out sometime but I feel like I would get my ass kicked so hard.
Do people even play this game anymore.
According to my sources in Ubi, about 14k Console and 8.5k PC.

the sad thing is, devs will look at the plummeting playercount and think it's because the game idea is bad. the game idea is great, ubisoft just implemented so stupidly. I really hope they don't give up on For Honor due to how few players the game has managed to retain.

They can see what people are saying about their game and other peoples games. Not least on the Ubi forums.
Wow, I'm surprised by the negative reaction to this. The game have admittedly have some pretty deep flaws at high level play, but I still enjoy the hell out of playing it. I main Kensei, who is easily the worst character in the game, and I still manage to do just fine. I'm not exactly looking forward to the new characters because I'm expecting a repeat of Season 2 where they're horribly OP for the first month or so until they get nerfed down to being reasonable, but the general gameplay is still great fun to me, especially when it's playing the original cast vs the original cast.
