They have a pretty big problem with train molesters (I see figures like two-thirds of women aged between 20 and 30 report having been groped on a train at least once but can't seem to find the source surveys so take that with a grain of salt) and a lot of the victims are too embarrassed and ashamed to speak up about it. It's so bad that a number of railways have women-only cars to try and combat the problem.
