Okay I know there's another Rob Ford SH thread right now but this is just too good, and he said it since Starpluck made his thread.
Headline: Rob Ford launches legal action over prostitution and crack claims in profane media scrum
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford says he is taking legal action against the former staffers who made stunning allegations about the mayor in a police document, saying he consorted with escorts and used sexually-explicit language to a woman working for him.
He was particularly angry about his staffers saying that they thought a young friend of his was a prostitute.
“I don’t appreciate people calling Alana a prostitute, I never had a prostitute, I’m very happily married at home,” he said. “She’s a friend and it makes me sick that people are saying this.”
“I’m happily married, I have more than enough to eat at home,” he said, drawing gasps from the reporters gathered around his office.
Atta Boy, Robbie, you gluttonous goof!
god I'm getting the fucking worst mental pictures right now

We can tell.
I want this guy to remain in office just so I can hear more golden lines like this from him
Oh my god the balls on this guy; I can't even imagine peoples faces when they realized what he meant. :v:
This fellow's got some real stones trying to pass everything off that he did so easily under the rug.

Knowing conservatives he'll win again.
I'll give credit where it's due. That's a golden line from Ford.
Th thing that I don't understand is that he's saying that it's ok that he threatened to brutally murder *someone* because he was drunk. He's saying that he smoked crack but isn't an addict. My qualm with all of this is that if the city can run alright with someone who openly admits to being a problem drinker and *occasional* crack smoker, how well would it be running if there were an actual competent mayor in office? or does this just point to the mayor seat being completely unnecessary. I don't understand how he expects to gain support by saying "I was drunk"
I can't use that defense in a criminal court of law, why should he be able to use it in the court of public opinion. The guy is clearly not competent enough to be mayor OR the mayor job is unnecessary, either way rob ford needs to find a different job.
Oh Ford..
