• Old THINK! adverts

I hope these don't break the rules as the gore isn't real and they were shown with normal adverts as well as in schools. They're old adverts that aren't shown anymore, but they used to show the worst side of what something small can do while driving, most people from the UK will remember them. (most controversial, the had to edit out the gory part before 9pm after complaints) Longest one shown in schools rather than on TV
So many stock gore sound effects
I'm not from the UK, and by the looks of the cars I am probably too young to remember these anyways. At&t have made some recently.

I almost feel no pity for those who don't fasten their seat belt or text/phone while driving and then crash.
The first one what the fuck
Similar adverts like these in OP, but from Czech Republic:
Little editing trivia for you, if you watch the slow motion side on collision with the child... you can see the switch-out moment when the bird passes over the kid. Anyway, I love these ads. They're very effective, not sure why they don't still run a similar campaign. I remember being quite shocked by them as a kid, and it really did make me want to wear a seatbelt. Also, anybody got the one where the girl is sitting on a wall with her dead boyfriend pinned to her by a car? That one was seriously rough.
This? http://youtu.be/W4-UfcfMwRU?t=1m51s
Aye, holy crap... it's intense. It's even worse without the shitty compilation music.
That last one is Final Destination worthy.
Why are there so many funny ratings?
This one is probably the best Safety PSA I've ever seen
What is with terrifying/gory adverts in the UK, like those old public safety films from the 80s?
Similar adverts like these in OP, but from Czech Republic:
I'm pretty sure that it was Superbaby in the first one. I mean the thing goes hurtling towards a windshield and smacks into it full force, yet is still conscious.
I lost it at the baby in the last one from OP.
Jesus christ these ads used to scare the fuck out of me when I was a kid the ones shown in Northern Ireland were extra hilarious and fucked up, though.

How is it ok to show ads like these in schools and on public television? I mean, I agree with the messages and what these are trying to say, but it is still a mystery to me why violent movies and games get so much flak while they're showing people's lungs get punctured, babies dying, teenagers losing all their friends and going into shock, and kids getting traumatized by losing their parents. All this while a few blood splatters and "violent themes" anger soccer moms and politicians worldwide [editline]][/editline]
Similar adverts like these in OP, but from Czech Republic:
Damn, Czech EMT guys dress like thugs
I need a Hummer.
Miles per hour? Feet? I thought they used the Metric system in the UK.
We use both, our speedometers show both too:
How is it ok to show ads like these in schools and on public television? They showed us other things in school too, like a kid getting electrocuted and dying from playing with pylons or another one falling into a quarry.
