• How to fix the folding stock on my Commando?
    17 replies, posted
I've got a 552 Commando clone, with a folding stock. I got it for thirty dollars, and it was possibly the best airsoft purchase I've made; good range, nice feel and it looks pretty nice. However, the folding stock has kinda broken. The back end falls off. I'll try to post pictures later, but I've attempted gorilla glue. It didn't work. Help me, oh mighty Airsoft Facepunchers. [editline]6th November 2010[/editline] For reference, it's a Double Eagle M82.
The best way to fix this is get a new gun.
Had a feeling, but I'd rather not toss of such a good rifle. I've also got a CYMA AK, which I have to buy a new battery for. It's such an insignificant break, I figured there might be a way to repair it.
CM022? Cm028? What model is it? And no, DE does not make good guns. At all. I guess this is your first gun, but now it's time to upgrade.
Double Eagle and good rifle? That's funny. Even my fucked up JG M16 that shoots like 250 FPS with .2s and has a totally fucked hop up is better than that.
Those Double Eagle M82's are absolute shit, man. It'd be for the greater good if you just thanked it for the time and sent it on it's way to Airsoft heaven.

Thing works miraculously, but I lost the battery charger when I moved, and the stock battery doesn't hold a charge for too long. [editline]6th November 2010[/editline] Hmm, then perhaps it is time to give the old bastard a send off. Just for the record, I'm looking at these three guns for possible replacements; -MK5 (Galaxy) -P90 (KS E90TS) -M4A1 (CM/G&G) Which one would you guys recommend? I'm liking the carbine for CQB-Mid (and for plinking), but the P90 and the MK5 are nice and compact.
I'd recommend the M4A1. Those generally have a huge capacity for upgrades. In addition, I've not heard much, if anything, about Galaxy. On the contrary, G&G's Combat Machine line is well known and almost universally praised. Ender reviewed the G&G Combat Machine M4, give that a look: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/949646-Review-G-amp-G-Combat-Machine-M4
One of my friends has that P90 but with the rail instead of a reflex sight. It has an M4 length barrel so you get pretty good range and accuracy out of it using .25s. Also P90 high cap mags hold 300 rounds and you don't need to wind them.
For reference, it's a Double Eagle M82.
There's your problem.
Why not just stick with your CYMA AK rather than buying a new gun? I'd just buy a new battery for that.
When I heard Double Eagles m82 I first thought that Double Eagles made a Barrett.
Go with a G&G M4.

It's also fairly heavy. I also sprained my wrist a few months ago and I still lack a bit of mobility with my left hand, so I like having the option of an under barrel grip on a rail.
Get an AKs-74u! :v:

I mean, if you're still interested in the G&G Combat Machine M4s. I'd rather go with this than the one you initially posted because the gearbox is wired to the rear so you don't have to mess with a mock PEQ2 unit on your rails, plus you do have the option of rails without having to go through the trouble of buying a rail attachment/brand new RIS for the standard M4.

I'm substituting the rifle you listed and am going for this one, I'm fairly certain it's the same model, just tan.
