After watching the trailer a couple months ago, I decided that Splice was just a fucked up movie. I just finished watching it... And it's more than just fucked up. The usual horror film is just jumpy and generally scary. This is nothing like that. It's not even scary, at the end it left me looking like O.O If any of you watched it before, what did you think of it? (sorry no link to trailer, I'm on my iPod)
French Horror.
Wasn't meant to be scary, just a thriller I guess, somewhat like the Human Centipede. I went into the movie with terrible expectations.. Everything went better than expected.
French Horror.
it's not french wtf?
it's french-canadian which is not the same as french
Its shit, thats what it is. I'm sorry if somebody here has some devoted like for it, but the film maker (who made Cube in 1997) doesn't understand that bestiality isn't cool, NOR is it making me feel sorry for the creature or creating some kind of cinematic gem. I don't think i need to spoiler tag that.. I mean its basically the same level as Human Centipede. [editline]21st October 2010[/editline] Its not a horror film, its drama/sci-fi/thriller.
it's not french wtf?
Body Horror with moral implications. french.
Body Horror with moral implications. french.
that is kind of a retarded thing to say your brain may be defective [editline]21st October 2010[/editline] there are like hundreds (maybe?) of body horror films with moral implications what makes that a french thing
This movie was decent, i didn't go in expecting a whole lot. Got some good performances, and the characters were deep enough for me to actually care. It could have been loads better, but definitely worth the watch I think

yes i did do you even know what your own point is [editline]21st October 2010[/editline] because they very definitely weren't speaking french, nor were they in france, nor are all 'body horrors with moral implications' french, i'd say those attributes are relatively regionless they are in movies from all sorts of countries with no one country dominating in their production [editline]21st October 2010[/editline] maybe u accidentally watched it in french??
I wasn't satisfied with Splice. The end felt way too rushed and THIS GUY should've been fired.
I actually liked Splice, it was twisted. Though I would like to know
what she gives birth too
Yeah, my avatar.

The whole movie starts to get grose after the little alien thing forms. But the really fucked up parts are: NAWW I WON'T SAY IT, WATCH THE MOVIE
TL;DW: 2 scientists mix human DNA with a cesspool of animal DNA to form a fucked up lady monster baby that grows really fast. The two scientists (who are a couple [as in a male and female]) decide to 'jump the couch' (aka: fuck) while the creepature watches. Several minutes of the movie passes (not important) and the creature decides to seduce the male into sexing her. Woman scientist walks in and is like "wtf?" and get's pissed. The male scientist was like "dude, I was thinkin' of youuu" and she goes "oh okay" and they get back together. More shit happens, then creature bitch escapes turns into a man, rapes the lady scientist (with a 20 inch dick, mind you) and kills everyone else. The end (lady = preggo, sells herself for science)
doesn't understand that bestiality isn't cool, NOR is it making me feel sorry for the creature
the point of the movie went straight over your head
I found this movie disturbing.
I watched this with my mom and siblings... Probably not a good idea to be next to them when [sp]Dren starts fucking Adrien Brody, adrien brody and that one girl fuck, and the sex changed alien rapes the girl[/sp]
I'd do Dren. ... Wait.. does it HAVE to turn into a male, cause like, if it did I couldn't do that. Then it'd kill me. Hm... Decisions..
I'd fuck Dren sideways, horizontally and vertically.
i'm watching this movie right now and oh god he's fucking it oh god oh god wtf definitely not a family movie
There's a children's TV show I've seen on called "Spliced" I wonder if they're related.
Doesn't look like that Adrian Brody is going on any more quests after this movie.
I heard this movie was really gross. I thought that meant there would be organs everywhere, not that there would be... organs everywhere.
Body Horror with moral implications. french.
that's common in spanish and japanese horror as well, soooo
I didn't like it really
