I'd really like Facepunch's opinion on this montage I created, it basically highlights some of the best games of last-gen and puts them all into a short montage, filled with music and stuff.
I like how they used cinematics in place of certain games.
I didn't know League of Legends was a console game. Same with Starcraft.
wow i can't believe a few of these games came out 8 years ago.

While it was nice seeing all those games in such a short period of time, the montage itself ain't really that good. The use of the same track and song gets monotonous and boring. You should consider using different music when one ends and put in some more variety in moments. At a point where the song gets at a high point, consider putting in frantic action and when the song is calm and serene just put in calming environments or use it as a build up to the following action sequences Lastly, don't be afraid of putting some actual audio footage from whatever games the montage features, put in some memorable moments like moving speeches or just entertaining one-liners from the characters and it'll really hit the audiences with the sense of being in the moment when they first played the games.

It was pretty ok, but the music's flow was interrupted at certain points. Also you're kinda missing Bioshock Infinite, a pretty big title there just sayin. Honestly this makes me want to make a tribute.

And to those that are saying that the audio mixing isn't the best, I agree, but it was the best I could, and I am going to work on mixing audio better in any future videos that I create. Regarding your post in general, even though you didn't like the montage, I am glad that you posted as you gave me some great constructive criticism that I will try to use in my next videos. If I ever create another montage like this again, I will try to put in more in-game audio, and switch up the songs to give a bit more variety. The idea of character speeches is a great one that I didn't even think of while planning/editing the vid. These are all things that I wouldn't necessarily see while I'm editing, or even while I'm watching my own video, but it's an area that I can for sure improve on and work towards. So I'd like to thank you for watching the video and giving me some amazing constructive criticism that I will definitely implement in future vids. Oh, and for those that mention that Starcraft and LoL aren't console games, I figured that since the 75 other titles are console titles, it would be reasonably appropriate for me to call it a console montage, but I guess I will change that, as the title/thumbnail of the vid at least can be easily changed. Unfortunately the title of this thread can't be changed :(
