The thing I like about post communist/communist/socialist countries is that they do shit like this. Look at the amount of effort put into stuff like this. [editline]29th September 2014[/editline] Their marching makes US and all the other nation's marching looks like nothing.
yet their military experience, or most of those soldiers are null. I mean hell, there is a new video about them failing to throw a simple grenade almost every week.
The precision of a well drilled unit on the march will never cease to amaze me. Military parades regardless of your political or ethical views are always worth a look. The distinctive eastern marching is especially impressive.
Fuck it, might as well have others Chile Poland South Korea
rofl, they're adding post process SFX for some reason in OP vid also kind of sickening how much time, effort and money went into a military display, rather than something productive.
I wonder if we'll see a military parade with no soldiers and just thousands of drones forming images in the air shooting fireworks or something one day.
Holy shit. At 41 minutes listen to the guy yell.
Estonia We have like 2 parades in a year. First one is for the Independence Day on the 24th February which this video is about. And then there is the Victory Day parade on the 23rd July, but the only video I found was on this webpage.
rofl, they're adding post process SFX for some reason in OP vid also kind of sickening how much time, effort and money went into a military display, rather than something productive.
didn't realise everything that you put effort into has to be productive. sports events aren't what most would call 'productive' and yet they're hugely popular.

That's the problem with it, it's wasted taxpayer money on a display of military might. I don't see how this can be related to sport as an example.

That military's being funded regardless, I'd rather have it doing something rather than sitting in army bases doing nothing or w/e
I think we all know who wins military parades ...and GETTING FUNKY I just love how he wears that terrible jacket mixed in with all those uniformed officers

It is to show the people that we have capable army and war machines so they feel safe. Not to mention to show off to the world that we have this to secure our land with. It also should be said that they are usually traditions as well.
As much as I like watching military parades, I'm sorta glad that the United States doesn't do them. It really is a waste of military funds and shit. Not to mention that people would get pissed off here if it was done.
Reminds me that our army is fucking shit. (If there even is one left.)
As far as I know the US doesn't have parades, we just have really fucking badass shows.
Chinese is such a funny language to listen to :v: Step aside skrubs
And not a single combat veteran among them.
Military parades are impressive but I always crack up at the sheer amount of time into teaching everyone how to walk funny

I'm not sure the USA should ever have a military parade. It would just be a 4 day non-stop event
I'm not sure the USA should ever have a military parade. It would just be a 4 day non-stop event
I'm pretty sure the closest you're gonna get to that are the Memorial Day and Veterans Day parades which often tend to be a mix of military and community groups. For all the resources we put into our military, we're pretty humble when it comes to showing it off in some parade or march.
I'm not sure the USA should ever have a military parade. It would just be a 4 day non-stop event
Day 1: Guns Day 2: Marching lead by drill instructors yelling and singing dirty cadences Day 3: Tanks and APCs Day 4: All the airplanes Far as I know we do military shows where we allow just about everyone to sit in, take pictures, and learn about almost every piece of military hardware.
Ah, my favorite cadence One To Three a Quarter I got caught with the first sergeants daughter... And only the 1SG's know the rest. Some say he grins.
Reminds me that our army is fucking shit. (If there even is one left.)
Doesn't Bulgaria have a military parade? I thought all ex-commie countries have one. Like we have a big-ass parade (at least for our standards) in our capital on our Independence day (1'st of December) And smaller ones in every major city
No love for Her Majesty's Foot Guards? Armed Forces Day

Most of the shows we do involve aircraft, or naval displays. Which also include live fire exercises.
Do the US do these massive parades aswell?
