Only good bands out of the list is Volumes and ABR. It's sad how most bands are just basically breakdown after breakdown for every single song.

Yeah my bad I just said it because I got the impression the stuff op was posting was metalcore. I joined this band and this one song we were doing was average early slipknot type metal and then they suggested a breakdown which slows down stupidly on repeats. Rage.

Breakdowns should be used sparingly and have some flair about them. Too many generic breakdowns in metalcore.

I've always wondered what the rock equivalent is called, breakdown it must be.

I've never seen so many sequential videos where I couldn't understand a word anyone was saying. I'd like this genre a lot more if they just got rid of the "vocals". Oh, well except Opeth. Opeth is pretty nice.
