I don't like the first because it's really vague and I couldn't tell that it was an promoting art just by looking at it.

Second. Only criticism is the red paint on Earth looks a bit iffy... I don't know, it might be the slight overlap on the fingers or something, the red paint dripping down from in between the fingers is very well accomplished, while the white one lacks here.

All in all, definitely the second.

For going along with the message, definitely the first one. The world being cracked open with art looks a little depressing, and kind of counters the message. While the first one makes things all around look cool, like I believe the message is supposed to be saying.

I agree with johanz the cracks and goo could be better, and the hands seem weird that the edges are sharp (some portions outlined in black?) and the fingertips are blurred. I however also agree with theguydude that the second does look more artsy to, while the first (if I didn't see the banner) makes me think of something entirely musical, like a gig or a rock competition or something.

The second, but you'd need to work on it. Great concept though ;)

I think the whole bleeding, cracked black and white earth idea in the second poster is too contradictory to the "Life is Good" theme, and think the first is more appropriate.

The second one is undoubtedly more attractive, though.
