• Deep-clean vinyl seats?

Hello, As some of you may know, I recently got a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500. Yesterday I got it here, tonight I started trying out products on it to see what would clean it the best. Neverdull is working great on the chrome pieces, Turtle Wax trim restorer is working great on the vinyl and plastic pieces that are clean. I just can't find something that does a good job cleaning the vinyl seats and vinyl covering on the doors. I've tried Simple Green and Neverdull so far. Any ideas? I've researched some. Some people say Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work good, but that they are abrasive and act like sand paper if used too hard. Some mentioned Comex and a soft cloth, other's mentioned Folex or something. Anyone here have experience with this and can recommend a method? The interior is in amazing shape, it's just a bit dirty.
steam cleaner Its worth a shot ;_;
Ehh, I don't think I'd want to try a steam cleaner on vinyl. I'd be worried that it'd mess with it some how
Just go with a Mother's vinyl spray or something
I really don't think that'd be strong enough. Maybe for cleaning dirt off new vinyl, but that's about it. Most of the Mother's vinyl products I've heard of are actually just made to protect the vinyl from future stains and such
Oh! Actually, you're right Tuff Stuff is the cleaner
Alright, update time. For regular cleaning, I ended up using a Vinyl and Leather cleaning spray from Turtle Wax. For spot stains, I ended up using a Magic Eraser. There was a Mr. Clean version and a Great Value version. I got the heavy duty version of the Mr. Clean ($2.50 for 2 if I remember right,) and the regular version of the Great Value one ($1.50 for 2.) The Great Value actually worked better than the name brand, was pretty surprised. It didn't come out brand new looking, but way better than it was. I also cleaned the door panels like that.
I've used the Heavy duty Mr.Clean stuff on my trucks rims, I think it was a 2 pack. Didn't do shit, and they wore out way too fast. It says they're good for cleaning rims on the package, but I don't think I'll be buying them again. Steel wool works great, doubt it works for vinyl though. :v:
I also tried those on the chrome bumper and some other misc chrome. The cheapo Great Value ones worked a lot better. I won't buy the Mr. Clean ones again
