Reminds me of how shit Ubisoft were for dealing with problems in Crysis, I won't even go into it because it was a headache from beginning to end just trying to get the game to work, and when I came back to it not long ago I quickly abandoned playing as soon I had to fuck around getting the game to work in fullscreen.
It's sad knowing that a lot of gamers today have become complacent with this kind of bullshit
Gamers are really terrible and inconsistent when it comes to praising/getting mad at publishers in general, really. The publisher is a fucking idiot unless they make my favorite games! Then they're perfect, even if they make the same mistakes as the others!
I really hope this doesn't catch on. In order to fool people, developers will now just release their games without micro transactions and then just patch it in. This will eventually lead to me having to wait at least a month or two before buying a game to see if the developers suddenly add some bullshit features.
TBFP chewed that Kotaku article out on last week's podcast. I was absolutely baffled.
