True genius... Each and every one of his excellence in different style His catalogue isn't extensive like Coppola's or Spielberg's but his contribution is extremely significant. I still love how the sync is off in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly as it was recorded with the actors speaking Italian.
Best. Fucking. Westerns. Ever.
I have the entire dollars trilogy recorded on my tv but I've yet to watch them.
Once Upon A Time In The West is overrated, at least the plot is garbage. Dollars trilogy is incredible though, some of the best directed films ever.

However I could be wrong. Regardless, Good Bad and the Ugly is my favorite western by far.
I fucking love The good, The bad and The ugly.
Once Upon A Time In The West is overrated
Once Upon a Time In The West is superb :wtc:
sergio leonne & stanley kubrick are my absolute favorites <3 spaghetti westerns will never be made the same.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is a fucking masterpiece.
Still need to finish Once Upon a Time in America.
Still need to finish Once Upon a Time in America.
There is a version that is 320 minutes long in existance :D the version that is available to buy is 230 minutes :smug:
Once Upon A Time In America = amazing
Sergio Leone made some of the best films ever. But lets not forget Ennio Morricone, who made the music for the best films ever. This is now the thread music.
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is one of the best movies of all time. Probably my favorite movie. I really liked a Fistful too. I'm not a huge fan of the second though.
Fistful Of Dynamite is overlooked... that was a superb movie
Dollars trilogy is fucking awesome.
His style is the greatest. Great filmmaker there, especially with his dollars trilogy.

I'm actually not liking the third as much as the others for some reason.

This is one of the best pieces of music in any movie, carries the film a whole lot more than the main theme.
I loved GBU but didn't care much for Once Upon A Time in the West.
I'm pretty sure its Spanish, as they were filmed in Spain. However I could be wrong. Regardless, Good Bad and the Ugly is my favorite western by far.
He had everyone talk in their native languages, so there was people talking Spanish, Italian, and English, but the plan was later to dub everyone's voices. I'm personally glad when Clint Eastwood saw that he was suppose to re-dub what he said with a different script than the on-set one he declined.
I watched all the dollar ones (Except Duck, You Sucker) and I must say there are very good. I still have to watch Once Upon a Time in the West.
Duck, you sucker is 'a fistful of dynamite' its not part of the dollars
Best. Fucking. Westerns. Ever.
Really great films.
I'm pretty sure its Spanish, as they were filmed in Spain. However I could be wrong. Regardless, Good Bad and the Ugly is my favorite western by far.

The three principal actors are the only ones who speak actual English in the film: Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Eli Wallach, with the exceptions of Al Mulock (the one-armed man) and John Bartha (the sheriff). Everyone else in the film is really speaking their native language, mostly Italian and Spanish, and was later dubbed into English.
Seems that it was both, my bad.
I fucking love The good, The bad and The ugly.
