I want to make a song, out of all our little ideas floating about inside our heads. So i'm going to record a few parts, and I want you guys to record anything you want, with any instrument you want, can even be vocals and ill include it in the final mix (quality doesn't really matter, but try to make it decent). All you have to do is upload it somewhere, and post the download link. There is one rule, don't post any actual songs, just self-written creative work. Here is my contribution:
GUITARone: http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm.php?get=997445851.wav
VOCALSone: http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm.php?get=332436982.wav
(...where did you go? and i cant tell the difference, between your face and a goat. Because you look like a goat...)
What the hell.
Didn't bother doing anything with the vocals, just did a simple drum thing in TuxGuitar. Wasn't sure what to do at or after the spazz-out, hence my giving the .mid as well.

I have no idea what direction we want this to go, so I didn't put up any genre-defining drum beats. Feel free, anyone, to change my beat around, too. :v:
thx a shit load, i still want a few more ppl to contribute before mixing it. so.... BUMP
We've tried these things before and they always end up falling apart but it looks like this ones off to a good start. I'll think about doing some keys/synth if I can find my MIDI hookup.
So you are going to collect all the different parts together and Ejay-like put them together?
How is this going to work without a set tempo? - or have I got the wrong end of the stick.
I suppose key doesn't really matter, who cares if someone plays an Ab over my A ;o
yep seems pretty much like it's going to fail
one, you didn't state the tempo
two, the guitar sounds like it goes in and out of time
three, seems like you could be arsed to editing the wavs to get rid of all the noise at the end

Oh baby, tritones and minor seconds
i'm going to editing all the unnesesary spacing at the end and beginning of the wavs. and play at whatever fucking temp you want i dont give a fuck
An Ab can be in the same key as A.
Okay guys, here's some info:
I set my drums to the tempo of 120bpm, and they lined up pretty much dead accurate to his guitar, so the tempo is 120bpm. I cleaned up the guitar clip he gave us, so use that.
More formally:
Tempo: 120BPM
Cleaned-up Guitar: Download
If you guys don't trust him or something, I can mix it all together, too. Let's see what we can do! As for key, well, you guys can decide. I have no idea what key it's in - and I only did drums. :v:
Should all just play what comes to our heads just as we hit record :p
Here's something, It's not brilliant but it's... usable? - I wanted to record a slap riff but it's 1AM and slap bass is noisy.
Some low notes: http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm.php?get=1409813923.wav
Uhh...I think we gotta settle on what to match up our tracks with first. :v:
allright im bout to mix this shit up get ready
hollaaaaa
