I am watching the news, and a plane has seemed to crash into the side of the Supertition Mountains in Mesa, Arizona. Will post updates when I find out.

I've always thought that this was the coolest name for a mountain range ever.

Also, five bucks says it was either negligence or instrument failure.
I hope the the pilot/pasengers[if any] are alright. I also hope theirs no leaks of materials... Last thing we need is a late monsoon wildfire.
Well that sucks, they were picking up the 3 kids for the holiday. I highly doubt any of them survived the crash. 1 kid was already confirmed dead. :(
could've been downdrafts and low air density

but they were way over the (low-ish) mountains in a twin engined plane, so it shouldn't have been a problem

I keep them in my pockets and use that small window to launch them.
Crazily enough, I was driving home at the same time it went down. Just seeing it was so confusing, just a small speck of light, and then it just turned into a huge fireball. At first I thought it was fireworks, or even a flare, but because of the darkness I couldn't tell that it was actually on the mountain. I was going to call 911 and report, but couldn't justify it enough to do it. You could see the fire just sitting there for my entire drive home. Makes me feel bad now, but sometimes you never would think that it was a crashed airplane.
