people said itd be different from the other cods lol
The metal gear solid references made me love this video.
people said itd be different from the other cods lol
But don't they always say that?
people said itd be different from the other cods lol
From what I can gather multiplayer is fresh again with the extended mobility the Exosuit offers Hell even TotalBiscuit praised it
The more you look at it the more it looks like a reheated cutlet when the chef said it's a fresh one. The gameplay and AI hasn't changed since the very first CoD game, you still get from point A to point B on a linear map while fending off waves of enemies who posses no difficulty whatsoever, you'd think it would take them so many years to improve on that but it's pretty much unchanged in order to save as much money as possible during the production in order to turn over more profit during the game launch, at this point they should not even bother with a singleplayer campaign but focus their entire team on multiplayer, but it seems to me that singleplayer campaign is simply a marketing tool for pulling in their customer base, it's nothing more but a collection of cool pre-designed moments and not actual proper gameplay, you're literally playing space invaders in fps form.
Oh god, when he jumps on a car and get noticed at last.

Fuck CoD, if you want a modern military game ArmA 3 does pretty well.
Fuck CoD, if you want a modern military game ArmA 3 does pretty well.
this is like saying fuck ace combat, go and play dcs it's dumb
But the thing is that ArmA represents an fps experience that the developers took their time on, instead of something made to meet a yearly release schedule.

Looks like someone spent 60$ on this.
Most of the people I know who bought AW haven't even played the singleplayer. At least there's mobility options in this game now. Multiplayer doesn't feel like it's just a contest for who can kill who first running around a corner. A 1v1 between people lasts so much longer than any other cod game and I think it's a pretty damn fun.
Since when is standing still or exploring areas and finding so much broken shit considered "trying to break"?
like i said, "some of this video is funny and shows some very cod-like moments" eg when that convoy of vehicles can't see him until he's stood on the bonnet. stuff like that is funny and shows how flawed the game's logic is in terms of holding the player's hand and assuming that they're going to follow the path set for them exactly as it is presented but doing stuff like - trying to stand inside character models - deliberately blocking ai - trying to go platforming in sections of the level not meant to be traversed - not following orders/doing what the game is telling you to do - going in the opposite direction to the game's progress is deliberately breaking the game. if you do that stuff then of course you're going to see the seams and you're going to rip those seams apart. it's unrepresentative and pointless for anything other than comedy. at least in birgirpall's videos like this, they're literally entitled "we broke the game" because that's what they're doing
Looks like someone spent 60$ on this.
pathetic rebuttal. i haven't bought cod since 2007 [editline]21st November 2014[/editline] all games have an element of suspension of disbelief to them. you can play any game like how cod is being played here and you'll find similar if not exactly the same examples of the game being 'broken'. even games that facepunch collectively rubs one out to. you can do stuff like this so easily in games like metro or stalker, deus ex, bioshock, wolfenstien, anything like that if you're gonna go into something with an attitude of "i bet this is a broken mess hey look yeh if i do the exact opposite of what the game tells me to do, it breaks. wow what a scam" then you'll find shit like this
But the thing is that ArmA represents an fps experience that the developers took their time on, instead of something made to meet a yearly release schedule.
People play CoD for an arcade shooting experience with explosions and bullets flying around. That is really not what ArmA is about. Just as silly like saying "Pff why play Mario Kart when you can play Forza? Its more realistic"

I'm surprised he didn't set the difficulty to easiest and complained about how he isn't dying at all. Every game has its ugly spots if you really want to find them - and to be honest, this one looks more interesting than all previous cods combined.
People who compare Arma to Call of Duty have no idea what they're talking about. Ones a military simulator and the others an arcade shooter that pumps a game a year. They've made like 12 Call of Duty games it just seems so silly to me that people will keep buying the next game on the list no matter what. I just don't see any variety to this game series besides the timeline of which the game takes place in. And it's not even just modern Call of Duty games that have these bugs and glitches, pretty sure the Battlefield series has had a shit ton too. It's really just the whole AAA gaming industry with high budget names like EA or Ubisoft that hold the countless number of bugs yeah please ignore the extremely unfunny Machinima commentator like jesus christ it's that bad

You can say that HL2 is about navigating a linear map while fighting off incoming enemies. I don't know what you expect. You should treat COD just like you treat movies with Jason Statham. It's just fun, sometimes funny because of how ridicolous it is. But that's what it is, action packed pseudo-military threater. It sells because the formula is very good, you can't miss with a linear tacticool military action. They aren't making CODs to meet a yearly schedule or anything, they make it because cods sell. Cods sell because cods are fun.
But the thing is that ArmA represents an fps experience that the developers took their time on, instead of something made to meet a yearly release schedule.
wasn't Arma III that game that had a bunch of content missing on release
wasn't Arma III that game that had a bunch of content missing on release
Yeah, like the entire singleplayer campaign.
Fuck CoD, if you want a modern military game ArmA 3 does pretty well.
arma is shit for me because it's over complicated to a stupid degree and constantly requires extremely tactical thinking and intimate knowledge of the controls or you'll die over and over mysteriously and have no idea what the hell is going on CoD is shit for me because its over simplified to a stupid degree and constantly holds your hand like you're a baby, and the AI is insanely linear and almost feels like it doesn't even exist the two aren't even close to being the same thing. One's a casual game and ones a very hard game. if you go into arma thinking it's just like cod you'll bitch about how the game is broken and you die constantly for seemingly no reason with no info at all if you go into cod thinking its just like arma you'll bitch about how the game is broken and the ai dies constantly for seemingly no reason at all
But the thing is that ArmA represents an fps experience that the developers took their time on, instead of something made to meet a yearly release schedule.
sledge has been making this for 3+ years though?
Fuck CoD, if you want a modern military game ArmA 3 does pretty well.
nty im not autistic
I hadn't realized CoD has become SO linear and focused on "The Story" that you literally don't even really interact anymore. I hope no one bought this for the single player
I hadn't realized CoD has become SO linear and focused on "The Story" that you literally don't even really interact anymore. Oh man, that helicopter pilot. :v:
Fuck CoD, if you want a modern military game ArmA 3 does pretty well.
Cod and arma are completely different games
Most css mods are more immersive than "press F" playable cutscenes. Should developers make gamers learn how to bhop, or add lots of platforming in fps's like most nintendo 64 games. Make things more of a mental challenge than an intense display with button tapping?
