Why?
Because there's a repetitive bit that has like 4 notes(nyan), and a part that slowly moves around a lot(friday).

however, since the melody is made of mainly 4 basic notes in friday (those 4 being the "strongest" degrees of the scale" there isn't a lot of times there it's even possible to have dissonance with a song in the same key
also, the 4 chord progression that is used by friday (i, vi, iv, v) can fit with almost any song because of how basic it is

only problem that pops up is during the chorus, the nyan cat songs uses a D natural while friday uses a D#, which makes it sound iffy at times
