So it sounds like she doesn't really have two vaginas, as those are external, but two of everything else.

In her case it was a transverse septum, which caused a buildup of menstrual blood as there was nowhere for it to go, which ruptured and led to the diagnosis. Longitudinal septa are more asymptomatic, but in the case of painful sex, resection solves the problem.
