Since flagdog was reintroduced, many users (myself included) display an incorrect flag since the system is now based on the IP used when registering. Could we please have an option to re-check the IP and update the flag, or even set the country manually in our profile settings?
I agree with this, my IP says I'm from France, and I invite any person to visit my french département-outre-mer house near Liverpool.
Mine is wrong too, and the weird thing is it used to be right when it displayed the county too.
Any time someone wants to insult me they bring up me being French. I'm not French.
I'm in Uruguay, not in Argentina. The difference is pretty big actually. Went there twice though. Pretty sights.
German.
Well mine is right so ya'll can suck it!
Doesn't sound very Canadian to me.
Mine is accurate country-wise, but back when it listed the cities I was listed in New York. There's around a 3000 mile difference there!
I think they were updated a while ago, mine use to say I was in the UAE
Solution: Quit moving so often ya damn bunch of gypsies On a serious note, manually selecting your country for your flag isn't a bad idea either
Solution: Quit moving so often ya damn bunch of gypsies On a serious note, manually selecting your country for your flag isn't a bad idea either
That would result in dozens of people selecting best korea
That would result in dozens of people selecting best korea
And?
That would result in dozens of people selecting best korea
fast anime would all be from japan
I have no idea how i got the croation flag yet I dont really care. It's a beautyful country after all.
Anyways, if the flagdog tool isn't even acurrate then why even have it? At least try making it work.
That would result in dozens of people selecting best korea
RAYHALO would be proud.
I agree with this, my IP says I'm from France, and I invite any person to visit my french département-outre-mer house near Liverpool.
Atleast Liverpool and France are still in Europe. Flagdog has a weird perception of where the East Midlands are, it seems.
Anyways, if the flagdog tool isn't even acurrate then why even have it? At least try making it work.
it is accurate for most people
Solution: Quit moving so often ya damn bunch of gypsies On a serious note, manually selecting your country for your flag isn't a bad idea either
I knew it, I wasn't from this earth!
Mine changes depending on where I was posting from.
New Zealander living in Australia. But fuck it I love my New Zealand flag.
Never been to England since I registered on facepunch
It's a feature to tell who used a proxy/VPN to register an alt account
I don't like manually setting a country because there are always 'original' people from Niger or Zimbabwe and ~hardcore weeaboos~ from Japan [editline]30th October 2013[/editline] Best Korea too
I'm from Denmark, but I don't like being branded as a damned swede. This needs to happen.
I'm not Indian.
I'm Australian not a yank
It's a feature to tell who used a proxy/VPN to register an alt account
I didn't use a proxy, I just was in Italy when I registered. But now, because of flagdog's influence on my subconscious, I have progressively started to gesticulate and eat pasta uncontrollably.
It's a feature to tell who used a proxy/VPN to register an alt account
I've been in the U.S. my entire life, and had no idea what a proxy was when I first registered. In fact, I had a U.S. flag the first time we had flagdog. Help me.
I like the American flag, I can pretend that I'm American and say American things (secretly I'm from the UK)
