Fingers crossed Environment Canada nails it 100 per cent.
The federal weather people don’t see a double-digit minus high through Saturday.
And Monday through Saturday, they say that vaguely-remembered bright orange ball will be in the sky, emitting heat and light.
The article reads like it's been pulled through Google Translate.
Is this an article about the weather?!
is this just an article saying "the sun will come out"
Confirmed that Canadians have never seen the sun.
the sun isn't on fire
It took me about an entire minute to realize they were talking about the sun. Thought it was another meteor siting.
Confirmed that Canadians have never seen the sun.
our igloos block the sun out
brother nuk-nuk thought he saw the sun one day
turned out it was hockey puck flying across the air, to get to other igloo net
Seattle still is under the impression that the natural color for the sky is grey
EC never gets our forecast past 2 days out correct. Past two fucking days.
What did I even just read.
What did I even just read.
You just read an article from the Winnipeg Free Press that reads like an Onion article.
Welcome to Canada, where the only news worthy thing that ever happens, is weather

i have seen sun
went US border, buy cheap smokes there
almost pass out from heat.
Last time I checked the sun is made out of plasma and gases, not fire.
this is literally the most pointless news article ever
"hello canada tomorrow we MIGHT not all freeze to death"
Which is an achievement here
Confirmed that Canadians have never seen the sun.
Inuvik, N.W.T., to celebrate annual return of the sun
Not a comedy article, actually kinda cool
Imagine them going.
"Aah, what a beautiful sunset...can't wait for the sunrise next month"
Who wrote this shit?
i have seen sun

Great ancestor tell me tale of first man to see fire god.
Say he never returned but joined fire god for eternal peace.
If only whole tribe could be strong like him.
Interesting, has anyone truly considered the ramifications of this?
- I no longer must fear vampires!
- Sunscreen and Sunglasses sales will skyrocket!
-The massive Vitamin D deficiency epidemic will be solved!
This is massive news!
;39705412']Interesting, has anyone truly considered the ramifications of this? Our world will be free from vampires roaming the streets, sunburns will become a threat to humanity, sun glasses sales will skyrocket, the epidemic of Vitamin D deficiencies will finally be solved! This is massive news!
For a second I thought that was going to turn into a has anyone really been far even as decided spiel.
What really does it is that it's published in a legit news site, all the other articles are real and everything
The Free Press has some moron writers, they print A LOT of useless stories. On top of that they are a very left wing liberal publication, who censor any comment they don't like on their online comments section. They went as far as to serve a lawsuit to a local website I was on, They allowed comments on links to stories on their site, WFP claimed it was plagiarism to have links to their stories.

You obviously don't read their print version
God, this article makes me think the editors seeped over from The Winnipeg Sun... Yikes.
I legitimately thought this was an Onion article when I read the thread title.
I don't even.
its that time of year again
just like every day
