Yes, for all of those who like to make ice cream instead of blowing money on it, you can breathe easy knowing that you really need to go outside, AND have a thread to this very topic! Post recipes, requests for recipes, and generally silliness.
First off, any good chocolate ice cream recipes?
It doesn't taste as good as icecream, but a recipe I picked up doing weightlifting is to take a scoop of protein powder, a cup of milk, put that in a ziploc bag, then you take a bigger bag, put ice and a bunch of salt into it. Put little bag in big bag and shake for 10 minutes. What you get is protein icecream.
HOME MADE SLURPEE!
1. Get any fruit juice, like fruit punch, apple, sunny D etc.
2.Throw in pour in blender
3. put some ice cubes in
4. blend
5. Instant slurpee
I freeze milk tea and blend it, shape it into a sphere and put it in a glass of milk tea so I can enjoy milk tea while I milk tea.
I once had to make wine ice cream as part of a party I was cooking for. Turned out better than expected.
1: I never liked protein food, but that sounds interesting. I might try that some day, if I actually exercised.
2. They have large slurpies for a dollar at the stop and go right next to my house, and they have GAINT-ass slushies at sonic that are dirt cheap at happy hour. Sadly, sonic is a bit far away.
3. Yo dog, i heard you liked milk tea.. (actually, I prefer iced tea. Also, nice avatar.)
4.Recipe. Now.
Anywho, chocolate banana milkshakes are wonderful. My mom used to make them all the time when I was a kid in the blender, and I still love making cherry-chocolate milkshakes in the machine I have. It's great.

You mean Ice Blend
One of my favorites, just finished making a batch a few minutes ago.
Malt Chip
Ingredients: 2 eggs, 3/4 cups of sugar, 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 cup whole milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1/3 cup malt power, 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips.
1. Whip eggs till nice and fluffy.
2. gradually add sugar while mixing it in.
3. Add the milk and cream, then mix.
4. add malt powder and vanilla, mix, and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
5. Put in your ice cream maker. 2 minutes before it is finished, add the chocolate chips.
also, if you stop at step 3 you will have a basic Sweet Cream Base that can be used for many different ice creams. And if you are looking for a good cookbook, I suggest Ben&Jerry's homemade ice cream cookbook. That's where I get my recipes, and most of them are pretty good.

I seriously wish I tried something creative like that when I first had vanilla flavored protein powder... I put it in water like a chocolate flavored one I had and deeply regretted it afterwards when i chocolated my flavored vanilla ones.
