You don't need a video as to the reasons you shouldn't buy this.
The bucket loads of DLC and microtransactions day 1 with the base game costing 60 USD is an abysmal business practice that speaks for itself.

It's sad how the pricing, DLCs and all that could have been actually reasonable if it wasn't of 2K shitting on the game and trying to monetize every single asset it has.
this game was boring in beta and it's boring now
I remember I got dumbed and ignored when I posted in the thread asking if there was going to be more content when the beta was first announced, because I didn't think I thought it was worth getting at that overblown price.

Threads for new games are always filled with people who won't admit that they spent money unwisely and will defend their shitty purchase to the grave.
Even the Alien:CM thread had people defending the game
the beta got repetitive and extremely boring, i wouldn't recommend this game.

i got the monster race edition. i feel a little cheated by some stuff like the fact that the 'season pass' is literally a couple of shitty reskins for $30 and i feel like they did that to encourage people to buy the ME edition thinking they would get a good deal on any future dlc, without actually checking the season pass store page.
i have played quite a lot so far and played in alpha/beta, i do actually really enjoy the game since im always playing in a group of 4 but im conflicted because of their terrible business practices. they shouldn't be allowed to call it a season pass when the widely accepted definition of that is that you get future dlc for free by buying it, when infact what they called the 'season pass' is literally a single dlc for the price of a full season pass on a normal game.
its like they are trying to do f2p moba style monetisation except they are trying to put it in a $60 game and it just screams cash grab.

Buying the game on sale isn't going to change the fact I have to pay even more to get the rest of the content in the game. You have to buy the 100 dollar package to gain access to the 5th monster. Unless it goes on like, a 90% off sale it's not worth getting.

They didn't even bother with single player in what could have been an awesome, deep, and immersive sci fi world. You can tell by some of the in game dialogue they wanted to but I imagine the producers were like NOPE new budget says fuck you we don't even include cornerstone parts in our games anymore.

Would not advise doing this. That's like buying Titanfall after the first week.
As a multiplayer game it's a waste of cash to get into it once the community's gone.
