Hello knowledgable people of facepunch, you may or may not know me, but I make plenty of music and is a frequent visitor of the musicians corner, and I only rarely venture here (mostly because everyone knows so much more about the bands they listen to than me, so I feel like I can't contribute anything to the current discussions), but I enjoy reading what everyone writes either way.
My real goal isn't to just say nice things about you guys, although I do appreciate giving you guys some nice words :smile:, my real mission here is to have you guys help me tell me what genre of music I'm actually making so that I can properly tell people what kind of music I do! So here are a few samples;

I figure some sort of rock, but I've no idea exactly what sort of rock! Please help, I would appreciate it tons!
I'd put you in the Queens of the Stone Age kind of rock/ alt vibe. IMO anyway, especially the first song. But i'm sure people will disagree.
They've been described as everything from hard rock, to alternative, to stoner rock. Have a look at them on last.fm and listen to some similar bands and see if any of the genre's they're labelled as fit.
sounds bluesy as fuck, being the creator, its really up to you. maybe funk rock?
also this is fucking brilliant music.
im getting a lot of stoner/doom vibe from some parts

I can see some similarities for sure, I do listen to them a lot so I might've accidently rubbed some of their music onto mine, although I am far from making such awesome songs as they do :)

Funk rock? Hmm, I really can't say I'm hearing so much funk in my songs to be honest, personally I would call my music stoner rock but I'm not really incorporating so much stonery things into my music so it feels kinda misleading to call it that, which is why I'd love to hear what you guys over here has to say about it since you guys are just so much more informed when it comes to music. :) Thanks mate, it makes me super excited to hear such kind words from someone else, really makes it all worth it making music!

Yeah I'm a huge fan of stoner and doom, always trying to make music that could fit that genre :) I had a few listens now to their album on spotify, solid stuff! Thanks a lot man!
It has that stoner rock feel but a bit heavier, I like it though
