God, I don't think games with 3 dimensional spaces translate well to the Twitch Plays format.
This won't end well.
This is probably gonna end up like that one twitch plays Halo where they get stuck on the 1st or 2nd level for weeks.

the fuck are these adverts
Aren't there hundreds of these channels by now? I don't see the appeal with a 3D game. TPP was fun until they built that fuckstupid cult around it, at least.
Consult the pool?
I hope they never beat it, since I've yet to beat Dark Souls and I will not be beat by what is basically a RNG :v:
Did they honestly think they could do this game? All it takes is one mistake and you basically have to start over. Especially since enemies respawn.
Theres no way this is going to work. Pokemon worked because it was 2d with 8 inputs, dark souls has what 24 inputs?
crash bandicoot would work perfectly and hilariously with this why aren't they doing it already LEFT LEFTL EFT fuck we fell THE BOULDER IS COMING RUN RUN RUN
Great, can't wait to see the next ripoff of the shitty 'Praise the Helix Fossil' meme.
They killed the archer finally.
They killed the archer finally.
Sen's Fortress is gonna be so fun.
I feel like this will be a catastrophic failure unless the stream owner changes how inputs are taken because at the moment literally nothing will get done and all the character will do is roll into walls and die repeatedly because of stupid input spam. There is no way the twitch chat will give the game the reaction-time based inputs a game like Dark Souls needs. Especially considering there's a long delay on twitch as it is. Plus they will never be able to level the character up, equip new items unless they land on some serious RNG. I doubt they'll even reach the end of the undead burg even if they do somehow kill the Asylum Demon before it. Twitch Plays X games that are on a 3D plane barely ever work. Dark Souls if definitely no exception.
Did they honestly think they could do this game? All it takes is one mistake and you basically have to start over. they keep rolling into a wall and getting shit by the first ranged enemy you meet this is never going to end
It's just a bit of fun. They know they most probably won't finish, it's just about seeing what kind of things can happen.
It's a pretty shit bit of fun if all they're doing is rolling into a wall and being shot by the first archer over and over for hours on end.
one or two months later and they'll have finally beat the asylum demon.
I bet you the the first thing they will eventually do is wonder off (somehow) to the graveyard.
I'm confused as to what this is exactly. [editline]14th August 2015[/editline] So it's a collective of people trying to play all at once?
that darksign in the inventory is going to be a constant threat
teach him fly and hashtag yolo
Just thinking of how long it took that guy to beat O&S with voice commands. It'll inevitably get stuck somewhere for long enough that nobody will want to do it anymore. The PvE is tricky enough that they'll die 99/100 times just trying to get to bosses. Twitch also won't be able to learn to read the game and improve on each try the way a human player does.
Is it possible for them to quit the game or was that disabled somehow?
This is pretty dumb, they're never getting out of the undead Asylum.
The should play Shovel Knight next
TPP was fun until they built that fuckstupid cult around it, at least.
That was the best part for me. How something so small and ridiculous could be blown up to extreme proportions. The art, stories, comics and above all enthusiam really made TPP a phenomenon. Utterly hilarious. When people tried to repeat it in the next TPP it just wasn't the same.
I don't like Twitch Plays Pokemon because whenever someone says "praise helix" I get all excited and then I remember and get disappointed.
