My First map - General - Facepunch Forum

Ok, My first map... It's WAAAY not close to completion, but i thought i could get some ideas for it. It's supposed to be kinda empty, it's a Map for Boats and floating bases etc.)

Maybe a bit bigger width wise? I'd happily play it though since my main army is water based. Some underwater caverns and shipwrecks wouldn't be too bad either.

Sky looks abit plain, add a sun and maybe a few clouds

Sun... No. It would be too Strange to have a sun on a map that no other maps have. And Clouds... Maybe, Because if there are flying Troops, then that can mess up some things.

Expand it a bit and it would be pretty sweet to play on. What about say, a mountain in the middle with a underwater tunnel through it?

agree with Jax, go for something that splits areas, and have some small island as well, or a beach, that way it allows water troops as well as an area for land units if needed plus you can start a PW having your ship wrecked on the island and your men stranded :D

I think an all water map is okay. Maybe an oil rig.

I have no boats, or anything that looks generally good and modern. So i am asking for Boat [i]Help[/i]. -Fishy sprites (:v:), but i reckon i could find some -a better Colour sheet that i already have >:C

Add some sharks. Sharks are awesome. Add them. [B]NOW[/B] (If you have shark spirits that is :v:) Oh and, 3 posts in 5 min. :D

maybe a more rocky sea floor with caves. Coral maybe?

I'm trying to avoid doing caves or caverns since when i try them... They look too smooth and crappy. But i'll keep it in mind and have a go. [editline]09:06PM[/editline] I have found some fish spriiites! Gonna get to work on that tomorrow.. To busy ATM.
