This is the 8th rendition of the Facepunch Firearms thread. Here, obviously, we discuss firearms and all things related to them. We give each other advice on their purchases and help them find parts that they may need. If you're not knowledgeable about firearms or would like to get into the hobby, feel free to ask and we'll help you where possible
Good youtube channels
Firearms youtube channels are a dime a dozen, but theres only a handful of good ones out there Hickock45 for some unpoliticized gun porn Cokeman2423 for some borderline crazy and reckless gun fun Military Arms Channel for fun tactical stuff IraqVeteran8888 I donno, I don't watch this channel, but it's good! If I inherit this unmolested 1898 30-40 Krag soon, where's the best place to buy accessories? (I love accessories) I'd probably want a sling, bayonet, and a decent place to buy ammo online. Thanks in advance guys. Cool first post, I think I'll show you guys a picture of me in my 325th Glider Infantry reenacting impression with my dad's H&R Korean war mfg. M1 Garand. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/FBgpIHp.jpg[/thumb] I'm getting a sling in the mail soon.

Rail Guns are selling for close to $2k, and that is not the only auction up on gunbroker. I barely paid $1100 for mine. It can't be related to the panic buying, because literally nothing about the Rail Gun is targeted by the Anti-Gun cronies.
Well I'm in the middle of a move and can't find my damn USB cable to hook up to my camera, or my card reader. So unfortunately I can't get pics of the new carbine right now, but I will as soon as I find my shit. Info tidbits though, the carbine is an Underwood, made in '43. The guy I got it from also sold me USGI 15 rounders (four of them) and one USGI 30 rounder, all at discount because I bought the carbine first. The 15 rounders were neat, still packed in that grease paper stuff they used to store them in, never issued. Which was nice, because the only other magazines for sale at the show were aftermarket and they looked / felt shitty. Picked up 300 rounds of .30 carbine to rock n roll with as soon as I can find a range around my new home.
I shan't post my pictures until I either have A) as complete of a Russian WWII collection as I can get in Canada (almost there), or B) one of the other Canadians posts their family photos. Basically, I'll show you mine if you show me yours first. But when I do, all y'all Americans gonna be grape fuckin' jelly, I can tell you that. I also realized that I only have 1 gun that isn't Russian in my name right now.

All my guns are in storage while my Dad moves houses since I don't have room for them... :( Otherwise, I'd post my extremely modest collection, compared to everyone else's here.
I'm like a quarter French-Canadian, if I post mine will you post yours ;)?
No. You are still too 'Murrican. I want to ensure my brothers in arms (and hockey) can get the appreciation they deserve for their collections as well, and that hopefully we can all make our southern friends grape fuckin' jelly. That, and I'm just so goddamn curious because the other Canucks on here have been so elusive with photos of their guns.

Wasn't until last summer when I got something that wasn't a Russian rifle, I picked up a Savage 6a dirt cheap to compete with my father's 10/22 and mine dates to the mid-late 40's with an old Weaver scope on it. Really should take a picture of what I got so far, the last picture I took was in August or so.
Haha, love this guy's description: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=327598508

Again, more rare pistols I wish I could collect but don't currently have the funding or capacity to own: [t]http://www.horstheld.com/123.JPG[/t] [t]http://www.horstheld.com/10499-b.JPG[/t] Yes that's a grip safety. [t]http://www.horstheld.com/Gastinne-186.JPG[/t] Out of all of these I'd probably most likely buy this one if I had the money and opportunity: [t]http://www.horstheld.com/Gilon-m.jpg[/t] [t]http://www.horstheld.com/Gilon.JPG[/t] [t]http://www.horstheld.com/Fischer.JPG[/t] Interesting novelty, made custom for a man who had "lost the use of his fingers".

If we're posting collections heres my most updated picture (and it's still out of date, ignore the black AK in the back) I need to get a fancy gun cabinet.
