This does.
What a waste of money.

Not really, considering it was to see if an F4 would damage a nuclear power station with a collision.
Lots of money, but I'm sure it was worth it, in case of future attacks/accidents.

When dealing with nuclear energy no test can be to drastic.

*important testing*
"What a waste of money!"
A waste of money or not, that was cool
Not sure why it came to mind, but when I saw the thread title I imagined someone throwing the "F4" key of their keyboard at a wall. This video was much more interesting than what I imagined.
Holy shit, that plane just dissappeared.
Man.
Note to self, Do not crash a F4 into a nuclear power plant.
Plane smoke, Don't breathe this.

Kinda like the reverse of this.
On Mythbusters, the wall comes at you!

I would love to see that entire episode.
Which one is it?

I remember they did a similar episode of this, with a custom slay thing, and the car just got cut in half. The slay vanished.
Yes, but happens when a nuclear powerplant is hit...
...by another nuclear powerplant?
Then, they crashed an F4 at brick wall into a 500 mph. The F4 was obliterated
well, no shit
planes are designed to be light objects so they can fly

I agree. But test are important to innove new technologies.
just like Harry Potter going into that magic wall thingy on that trainstation.
As you can see there was a portal placed on the concrete wall, which the jet's wing's broke the concrete wall.
Don't bother looking for the portal, it's invisible.
wow the wall barely fucking budged
The wing tips just keep moving like nothing happened.
what a blast
Next, An-225.
"The US government wanted to test what would happen if a plane crashed into the walls of a nuclear power plant.
The fuck they did. They just wanted to watch a plane crashing into a wall in slow motion.
Plane? What plane?
was expecting literal F4

Destroying things in slow motion is so goddamn satisfying.
This is the cover of an old Klutz book of mine I've had for years.

Wouldn't testing this with a bigger plane be more effective seeing as it'd be much easier for a terrorist organization to get their hands on a 747? Plus I wanna see an 747 crash in slow-mo.
