I don't think anyone was being racist here, I think the camp did a bad job at providing an activity outline to the parents, and the parents did a bad job at knowing what they were sending their kids away to for four days.

It happens in more places? Well I never heard of these educational slave camps but if they can pull it out well, as in, showing people that slavery sucks in an educational way without fucking it up like this, then I guess that's pretty cool.
