I would buy it if the PC version wasn't so dead. Seriously, the only thing that could bring it life would be more than 2 patches and [B][U]free[/U][/B] DLC.

£4.99 for 4 maps seems excessive, especially when you compare it to Borderlands though expensive DLC's, they at least expanded on the game.
AvP is so short, and putting pay for maps up will only divide the already dwindling community even more.
Maps? Really Rebellion? Okay, I know you didn't start us off with much to begin with but for the love of christ fix the fucking multiplayer! It's the only reason anyone's still playing the game!
This game is pretty much one of the biggest flops of this year, I'm surprised the developers bothered to make DLC for it.
What the shit, they're charging us for maps for a dead game? They might as well release DLC for the original red faction and charge us 5.99

There's just such a huge lack of content compared to AvP classic and 2. There's no classes, no objective maps that make humans do anything besides camp, a shitty rank system that only unlocks skins that are purely cosmetic, and half-assed dedicated servers that still don't work. Probably alot more.
I don't know what the hell devs are smoking now-a-days to make us pay for something as small as maps.

There's plenty of reasons to like the classic AVP better than the new one.

It doesn't suck, per se. It's just disappointing.
I mean, remember the gameplay videos we first saw of this game? I think most people thought 'this is going to kick ass'.
It's still decent but Rebellion's made a considerable amount of mistakes with design which have piled up and tripped AvP up, which is a shame really because with the right amount of polish, this could potentially have lived up to its hype.
I think it's funny when people try out the melee, fail, then go on to complain that it sucks and is broken.
I agree with Levithan. It's piss easy to own anyone as marine, or alien, or predator for that matter.

I don't mind a good melee fight, until the person tail spams (alien) or pre heavy attacks, or even E spams.
Pretty much ruins the battle

It pretty much ended up like Operation Flashpoint 2
I remember saying this game would suck because Rebellion made it. But noooo, everyone was like "STFU IT WILL BE EPIC." I got conned by the demo actually being fun so I pre-purchased the game. Big mistake.
