• Rachel Dolezal, "Trans-Black" who was former NAACP leader, now jobless, may soon be homeless
Rachel Dolezal, the infamous white woman who for years passed herself off as African American and rose to become head of an NAACP branch, is now jobless, on food stamps and expects to soon be homeless. A defiant Dolezal, 39, recounted her current plight to The Guardian. Dolezal said she’s only been offered jobs in reality television and porno flicks. A friend helped her come up with the money for February’s rent and she doesn’t know how she’s going to pay for March. And she still says she’s not white. “I do think a more complex label would be helpful, but we don’t really have that vocabulary,” Dolezal told The Guardian. “I feel like the idea of being trans-black would be much more accurate than ‘I’m white.’ Because, you know, I’m not white . . . Calling myself black feels more accurate than saying I’m white.” Dolezal was exposed in June 2015 when a local television crew asked her the simple question: “Are you African American?” Pictures of a younger, white-skinned and blonde-haired Dolezal soon surfaced and her story exploded. The formerly successful leader of the Spokane NAACP chapter and a university professor, Dolezal – who once sued historically-black Howard University for racial discrimination, because she was white – now says she’s been turned down for 100 jobs and her memoir was rejected by 30 publishers before finding a taker. She’s also apparently begun ruffling feathers in the transgender community by claiming that race, like gender, is fluid. “It’s more so,” Dolezal told The Guardian. “Because it wasn’t even biological to begin with. It was always a social construct.” Dolezal said she’s never considered identifying as white again. “I feel that I was born with the essential essence of who I am, whether it matches my anatomy and complexion or not,” Dolezal said. “I’ve never questioned being a girl or a woman, for example, but whiteness has always felt foreign to me, for as long as I can remember. I didn’t choose to feel this way or be this way, I just am.
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/02/26/rachel-dolezal-white-woman-who-identifies-as-black-now-jobless-may-soon-be-homeless.html http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-rachel-dolezal-unemployed-20170227-story.html http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2017/02/27/rachel-dolezal-former-naacp-leader-who-claimed-white-food-stamps/98469292/ The Guardian Interview: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/feb/25/rachel-dolezal-not-going-stoop-apologise-grovel
Hold up, let me dig out my microscope to play the tiniest violin I have for this woman.
What a colossal retard.
Karma doesn't always turn up immediately, but when it does, you'll usually rue the day you made the mistake that got you into that scrape in the first place. This woman though, she's an unrepentant fuckwit still lmao
While I hate to see anyone go homeless, you have to wonder what was she thinking.
She's only been offered reality tv and porn jobs... so she isn't looking for a job that's like what the rest of us have because she probably thinks that's below her (as well as it seems she's expecting jobs to come to her rather than looking). Welcome to the real world.
I guess now she's really a black woman. (User was banned for this post ("Racism" - Bradyns))
I guess now she's really a black woman.
:s:
this lady did great things for people, she fought (and won) against discrimination as the head of Spokane's NAACP chapter. Despite what you might think about her "deception"
:s:
Seriously, what did she expect from acting in such a stupid way? Race isn't as fluid as she claims it is and she blacklisted herself by being an idiot on national news. I feel bad for her that she's not able to work and such but she created this situation for herself, no one wants to hire a crazy person like her. She might have done some good in the NAACP but that doesn't excuse her insane action of pretending to be black.
Did you really say something like this.
She said it.
I guess now she's really a black woman.
Because black women are homeless and unemployable except porn and reality TV? :goodjob:
I guess now she's really a black woman.
:what:
She's right in that race is a social construct, making race fluid is stupid though. Better to not use it at all. That said, if she wants to identify with black culture, that's her choice.
I guess now she's really a black woman.
Gonna assume poe's law
She’s also apparently begun ruffling feathers in the transgender community by claiming that race, like gender, is fluid.
...what?
Gonna assume poe's law
Yeah, that joke didn't come across the way I wanted it to. It sucks that she's in this situation but she created it for herself and now she has to live with the consequences. If she opens up a patreon she might be able to live off of the patreonbux that the far left will give her but otherwise she's fucked.
Honestly you guys are being pretty disgusting right now Just because she did what she did doesnt mean she deserves to be on the street. This woman has got kids to provide for too Seriously it's utterly cruel that she can't find a job at all after what happened and has been utterly ostracised by society. And the whole "she should have thought of that before" line is utterly unacceptable in this situation Employment and providing for family is a human right and what she did isn't enough to make her less deserving of her basic rights
I guess now she's really a black woman.
We have been missing out on this for so long

She's getting this attention because she was part of a scandal. I hate the "She deserved it" stuff as much as you but I'd rather sympathy not be doled out based on a popularity thing
Can someone give me a rundown on who this lady is? I read about this the other day, and how she used fake names to apply for those 100 jobs. But I still dont have any idea who she is, other than she's a huge bellend.
Now she'll finally live like a raccoon.
um edit:
(User was banned for this post ("Racism + Last chance" - Bradyns))
oh good
I think it's disgusting you come around riding on your high horse when people have been homeless and jobless way before she was even born and will continue being that way long after everybody has forgotten about her existance and the scandal surrounding her. People without jobs and homes are "ostracised" by society too, even if they don't have big media whoops surrounding them. Do you care for them too or are you just running your gums so you can feel like you're somehow better than people who are not too impressed with the way Rachel has acted in the past and now has to face the consequences of those actions
Seriously I'm doing rings in my head trying to figure out where the logic in this post is Stupid post, invent complete diversion, imply I don't care about homeless people or jobless people when there's nothing to suggest I don't, think it's disgusting that I would dare spend a second thinking it's not nice to gloat over someone being ostracised Like seriously what point are you trying to make here? Other than being on a high horse yourself Yeah there are loads of people without jobs and homes and that's as much an infringement on their rights as it is on here? But how does that in any way make it excusable to be like "I have no sympathy for this woman who owing to some weird fucking problem can now only do porn to get by" No matter which way you slice it is pretty disgusting to be laughing at anyone who finds themselves in this position even if you think they're just facing the consequences of their actions [editline]28th February 2017[/editline]
I get that but there's all sorts of other actual black people, also latinos, also whites, who are on the streets, also homeless. It's not about sympathy it's about whether or not a person deserves to be only able to do porn or reality TV because of a scandal. My answer is no. That's utterly dehumanising Just to reiterate - other people being homeless in no way delegitimises the idea that it actually sort of sucks that his woman got out through the shit
Having read the full interview, i will say that i support her. She explained why she is like this, it's no different than being transgender. It's the same kind of thinking. Looking back at history, first Jews, then Gays and now Transgender were discriminated against and now they have become accepted. This is just the next step, we will be looking back and be ashamed of ourselves for not taking these things seriously.

Show me the scientific evidence that supports the concept of transrace.
Okay, cool. Show me the scientific evidence that supports the concept of transrace.
To be fair, the 'concept' is in its infancy, so unlike legitimate transgender concepts it hasn't had time to be studied, peer reviewed, and proven etc. But I'm squarely on the side that it's fiction.

It becomes an aesthetic choice and not something you were born or raised in, so why not just dump the idea altogether?
Okay, cool. Show me the scientific evidence that supports the concept of transrace.
Race is a social construct, no evidence exist for it. So transrace doesn't need to be held to a higher standard.
Did you seriously put being Jewish next to being gay or transgender? :what: Or am I the bigot?
Why should I deny anti-Jewish sentiment of 19th/early 20th century? It happened
The moment someone can pick what race they are is the moment when race stops being relevant. It becomes an aesthetic choice and not something you were born or raised in, so why not just dump the idea altogether?
I mean that is a really nice idea, but there are differences between races that are undeniably not part of the idea it is only a "social construct".
Twenty-eight of the last 38 world record holders in the men's 100-meter dash have been black athletes, and researchers at two universities think they know why. A new study by researchers at Howard University, a historically black school in Washington D.C., and Duke University in North Carolina suggests why black athletes may outperform athletes of other races in running events. Physical differences in the length of the limbs and the structure of the body mean the center of gravity tends to be higher in the bodies of black people, the researchers say.
http://www.livescience.com/10716-scientists-theorize-black-athletes-run-fastest.html
Analysis of genomes from around the world establishes that there is a biological basis for race, despite the official statements to the contrary of leading social science organizations. An illustration of the point is the fact that with mixed race populations, such as African Americans, geneticists can now track along an individual’s genome, and assign each segment to an African or European ancestor, an exercise that would be impossible if race did not have some basis in biological reality. Racism and discrimination are wrong as a matter of principle, not of science. That said, it is hard to see anything in the new understanding of race that gives ammunition to racists. The reverse is the case. Exploration of the genome has shown that all humans, whatever their race, share the same set of genes. Each gene exists in a variety of alternative forms known as alleles, so one might suppose that races have distinguishing alleles, but even this is not the case. A few alleles have highly skewed distributions but these do not suffice to explain the difference between races. The difference between races seems to rest on the subtle matter of relative allele frequencies. The overwhelming verdict of the genome is to declare the basic unity of humankind.
http://time.com/91081/what-science-says-about-race-and-genetics/ Again nice idea, but you would be as delusional as the same people to think there are no differences between males and females. At the same time you should realize that the egalitarian approach to humanity, while understanding some key differences, is what science strives for here. What this lady is doing is straight up some sort of racial dysphoria and needs counseling.
