Yes, you read the right. Jay Forry is a movie critic who has never actually seen a movie. When I heard about him I immediately looked him up. You see, Jay looks beyond just pretty visuals (*cough* Avatar *cough*) and grades a movie based on the story and acting. He uses a unique yet hilarious rating system: A = So good, blind people like it B = I'm glad I could hear it C = I had one eye open D = I'm glad I couldn't see it F = Blindness was a blessing Its interesting to read what he's able to get from movies without ever seeing them. Yes he normally has someone go with him to explain significant parts of movies so he can better follow the story. I can imagine what that person was saying during Avatar:
"Okay that girl is blue." "What do you mean blue?" "Dude, she's blue" "You mean like sad?" "No dude, she's fucking 8 feet tall and has blue skin" "Oooh..."
You can find his reviews on his website http://www.blindsidereviews.com/ I'll never look at movie critics the same way. Pun intended
he sure must have enjoyed watching the movies... ha. ha. ahaawww.
This guy's got the eye for criticism.
Genius! We need more of men like him, they can't see the evil, so they're always happy
Cut it out with the puns they are in every fucking thread. This guy has a decent outlook on life more people should be like him EDIT: Don't rate me funny i'm serious
i really wanted to hear his opinion on avatar
Should have gone to Specsavers
I don't exactly know what's the point of listening to a film. He should choose a different kind of hobby, rather than criticizing films even though he cannot even see them! I mean, seriously. If it were this blind mans opinion about a movie versus another guys opinion who has actually seen the film, I'd go with the 2nd.
he should have been a book critic
he sure must have enjoyed watching the movies... ha. ha. ahaawww.
your retarded, that isn't a pun at all, nor is it funny in any way. people like you ruin puns
"Are we watching Dances with Wolves again?" "No, this is AVATAR" "Quit fucking with me, this is Dances with Wolves" "I'm not fucking kidding!" "You're an asshole"
he sure must have enjoyed watching the movies... ha. ha. ahaawww.
:saddowns:
This guy's got the eye for criticism.
Rated funny.
Now, my question is, does he write the reviews with blind people in mind or is it just a straight up review of the movie?
Does he also review silent films?
Wow, got to hand it to this guy, it's an interesting angle.
Rated funny.
Rated heart.
That's a pretty cool talent.
I'm curious to what he'd think of the Book of Eli.
He must do a review of the south park movie.....
I'm glad someone said Avatar had good things outside special effects.
He must do a review of the south park movie.....
He wouldn't know it was animated, he would think its real people
Rodger Ebert can't speak, I like his reviews.
he sure must have enjoyed watching the movies... ha. ha. ahaawww.
Others are awesome at coming up with witty puns, but others just fail. [editline]6:20PM[/editline] HARD
I see, so he is blind?
