Russian state television ratcheted up its pro-invasion rhetoric over the weekend and showed what it claimed were buses full of refugees pouring across the Ukrainian border, fleeing what anchors call the "fascist thugs" who took power after Russia-leaning President Viktor Yanukovych fled the country last week after months of protest. At least 10,000 people waving Russian flags rallied in central Moscow. Some dressed in Soviet military uniforms and shouted slogans like "Fascism will not pass!" and "No to Nazism!" — evoking parallels with the repulsion of Hitler's troops from Ukraine in World War II.

But at an anti-invasion protest near Red Square, dozens of demonstrators — one of whom held up just a blank piece of poster paper in protest — were quickly detained by police. The Associated Press witnessed more than 50 detentions and spotted at least five police vans, which carry between 15 and 20 protesters, driving away from the square.
War is peace. The cycle continues.
Fuck.

What he is saying is anything but dumb. He's making a reference to the brainwash in which people support war, when they shouldn't be supporting it. Please.
Fascism will not pass!

No to Nazism!
How is fascism or nazism even remotely related to the sovereignty of an entire nation being violated by Russia? Just curious as to why Russians keep blurting something about nazis and fascists in wholly unrelated matters. Getting the impression they don't even differentiate between the two... The irony strikes me as strange - modern Russia itself is supposedly statistically a hotspot for neonazism and ultranationalism (imperialism).

Russia is today's Nazi Germany. The dumb fucks went from hating Nazism to replicating it in their own way now.
Good. (User was permabanned for this post ("Again, troll reply - ban history, has had more than enough chances" - Megafan))
Russia is today's Nazi Germany. The dumb fucks went from hating Nazism to replicating it in their own way now.
Russia certainly intends to occupy Europe.
Russia is today's Nazi Germany. Authoritarianism, imperialism, genocide, political suppression, assassinations and disappearances, blind nationalism, an industry build of war, etc.

Someone should measure radiation levels, the chernobyl sarcophagus is in Ukraine and it seems that it didn't reach its funding goal. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13124777 It could be that radiation levels are so high that russia has taken it as a possible offence or terrorist attack instead of an old unstable and decaying structure.

And quite frankly insulting to Russia. At the time of the chernobyl explosion some people did think it was an offence or terrorist attack, but no one acted irrationally.

I'm not talking about those recent ammo explosions.
Nationalism and imperialism are very different things.
Imperialism does imply Nationalism though, at least to some extent.
I mean before the explosions happened and why russia invaded in the first place. I'm not talking about those recent ammo explosions.
I meant the Chernobyl explosions.
I meant the Chernobyl explosions.
I'm not taling about any explosions at chernobyl although my avatar could have given a wrong context. Basically the current sarcophagus that keeps the radiation shielded needs to be replaced and could be leaking radiation due to an aging structure that hasn't been replaced. Russia could have measured radiation levels above normal levels and wanted to make sure it wasn't an attack by bringing in its own military to investigate.

Crimea is more than 1000 kilometers away from Chernobyl Are you high or something?
