Jokes aside there is a point and it's that these robots, however cool they might be in concept, won't be used for anything practical, they'll be for show until they're even remotely feasible in other areas, like would it be better than a CAT Excavator? Not anytime soon that's for sure, I doubt it'd even be good in 2027, even with a giant fucking shovel, until we can get Fusion Energy and make a portable version of it, power constraints will be a major fucking problem unless they made these Jaeger sized and have Nuclear Reactors inside their chest or wherever, but then you know, we're not made of fucking money or materials or even know how to make something that big.
