How do you even get C4?
How do you even get C4?
with lots and lots of expensive permits i presume
RatedRR somehow gets everything every time no questions asked. I want that job...
Literally everything is so hyper dramatized to the ultra uber max
Can i ask how that computer survived being dropped in water and turned on seemingly soon afterwards?
Can i ask how that computer survived being dropped in water and turned on seemingly soon afterwards?
He might have used distilled water or the like, but even normal water really isn't all that conductive - residue is the larger problem, iirc. So if he tested it without giving the water time to dissipate, that might be why, and the computer might've gone bad later on. But really, it's largely a case of luck whether something survives or not.
At least they somewhat do it in a more original way rather than "Hey guys we got this super expensive machine and we are going to destroy it because we know most of you dislike Apple!". The explosion was worth it.
Can i ask how that computer survived being dropped in water and turned on seemingly soon afterwards?
there are no moving parts other than the fan at the bottom. it's a case of good electronics that have been left to dry out for a few hours
Can i ask how that computer survived being dropped in water and turned on seemingly soon afterwards?
If there's no power going through the circuit when it's in the water a lot of circuitry will survive.
well, whatever the case, it sure didn't survive the explosion.
That must've been some devil forces at work if it did.
They fired off a whole lot more C4 than what was just inside the Mac Pro.
I don't get the point of even including the computer when you use that much explosive. The explosion's so big that it covers up any view of the destruction, and there's nothing left of the computer to look at as an aftermath.
with lots and lots of expensive permits i presume
You can make RDX, it's hard and takes a ton of time if you don't have access to the actual chemicals to make it, but it's doable. It's much easier to make PETN though, so if you wanted to just make things go boom, you'd use that. Source: I know a chemical engineer.
:( it's hard to watch such good machinery being blown to pieces
:( it's hard to watch such good machinery being blown to pieces
Those metal bars looked like they held just fine
Drop tests and water tests are kind of interesting, but it's pretty disappointing when people completely wreck a perfectly fine machine.
How do you even get C4?
I think if you get a certified explosives specialist to do the whole thing, he can buy the explosives.

For everyone thinking what a shame you can't even see it blow up, He specifically mentions how he wonders the footage will turn out. This isn't it yet Look here There's another camera right there mounted with a pole drilled into the ground. This is most likely another high speed camera. What I'm wondering about is the kind of casing it must have to withstand something like that....
