As of this writing, the listing has now been removed from under the Trending Section of the PS Store on PS4.
INFINITE WARFARE
Infinite Warfare because this series will be annual until the end of time
I can see a lot of people sticking with BO3 for a few years, solid iteration.
To infinity and beyond?
Sounds like a placeholder name Infinity Ward uses internally or something.
I guess the title makes sense if it takes place in space. I wish they'd drop the "warfare" shit, though. It wouldn't surprise me if this ended up being true.
All the war, Across all the Dimensions
F2P shooter with DLC packs constantly randomly generated by a computer
Call of Duty: The Search for More Money
hoping they don't go the Destiny/The Division route with a mixed RPG/Shooter/MMO hybrid
The campaign will only last 4-6 hours though Source: Every previous game
Call of Duty: The Search for More Money
That was never released just as history of the world part 2 was never.
Infinite Warfare sounds really cool but there's no this game will live up to a title like that

That subtitle's bound to print money.
So, after this game I guess that they will take an ever more futuristic approach and maybe introduce non-human enemies. I mean, there are Nazi Zombies already, making the players fight Commie Aliens was just a matter of time.
At least it isn't Ghosts 2. That would've been financial suicide. I wonder why they didn't go the safe route and return to the modern warfare franchise. All the CoD kids who hate change are clamoring for it.
F2P shooter with DLC packs constantly randomly generated by a computer
Call of Duty has Infinite DLC
F2P shooter with DLC packs constantly randomly generated by a computer
That would be interesting actually "Help, the [CUBANS] have invaded [AUSTRALIA], it is up to us, the [PURPLE] [WINGS], to aid them"
Makes it sound like a Warhammer crossover. I really hope that's the case. The last proper warhammer shooter was Fire Warrior, since Space Marine was more of a God of War clone with guns.
Wonder if Disney will sue since infinity war is out in a few years
hoping they don't go the Destiny/The Division route with a mixed RPG/Shooter/MMO hybrid
on a bsp engine? not possible
I hope infinite warfare is just a placeholder because it sounds so goddamn stupid
Can't trust Infinity Ward after the absymal MW3 and Ghosts. Don't care that they fused with Neversoft and became a super studio. They lost their touch since MW2.
Seeing as they merged with Neversoft they should have made the last Tony Hawk game a tie in with CoD. Tony Hawk's Call Of Duty: Extreme Warfare 900 Edition. "Skateboards and shooting never felt this good"

BO3 multiplayer was also great in my opinion.
Who knows, maybe it's not as stupid out of context as we think. The series started with theaters of war, I wouldn't be surprised if the next Call of Duty jumps the shark and literally has different time periods of war all mashed into one game because Infinity Ward knows they can't do modern, WW2 or futuristic without being called out at this point.
It's like they're not even trying to hide that they're just making easy money.
Treyarch seems like the only competent company despite they first fucked up with the third game. It was pretty funny too since CoD3 is the worst and the most forgettable in the series. Sledgehammer has some way to go and I'll give a full judgement when they release their second game.
:what: Are you serious? CoD3 is the best of the WW2 COD shooters.
There's too many swords and fantasy and magic and shit in video gaming anyway recently. I miss the brown cawadooty days.
How can you miss something that is being released every year since 2003 ?
