it isn't about a leak or untrusted Chinese source. it is official announcement
Literally everyone is surprised by this of course
it isn't about a leak or untrusted Chinese source. it is official announcement
and the leak turned out to be right and everyone was discussing the livestream in the thread.
Thank god that they didn't make the phone bigger!
I really wanted to keep with the Galaxy line and I thought the S3 was a little too big. I eventually came to terms with it, but never bought it. I wanted to get the S4 but when they announced a 5" screen I assumed the phone was going to be massive.
A tad smaller than the S3 I think it is a perfect phone to replace my S2.
They said they'll be bringing the features that don't depend on new hardware to all of their flagship devices so S3 should get some of the new stuff at least.
Using the S2 for 2 years, is it worth it to change to S4?
I thought of getting Nexus, BUT ITS NOT FUCKING OUT IN MY COUNTRY
Goddammit

I'm more interested in this than the S3 because it comes in black. I want to know about the heating issues beforehand though, my S2 regularly pushes 40°C on Facebook.

Looks good but I dunno, seems lackluster. Oh well, hopefully the s3 gets 4.2 or somethin

Why is there a drawing of a sheep?
Why is there a drawing of a sheep?
a ram is a male sheep.
Though it's def a worthy upgrade from the s2
a ram is a male sheep.
It's been so long since I heard a male sheep be referred to as a ram I actually forgot they're called that. I feel silly now.
Most S3 owners will probably skip this. A lot of them will probably only be half way through their contract by the time this releases.

I always called them dinner. Easier to remember.

I read somewhere that they'll continue to support the S3 with software updates, and after the S4 reveal they said the S3 will get some of the S4's features that don't depend on new hardware.
This may be my next phone, I've been sitting on an upgrade for my Razr because I was waiting for the next crop of phones to launch in the spring.
Any news on the release? My contract is up next month and I want one :v:
Drop it once and it's destroyed.
Drop it once and it's destroyed.
doesn't strike me as that squishy tbh
it's very light which will help, and the glass is gorilla glass
Drop it once and it's destroyed.
It would do okay. But there's a reason you get cases
Drop it once and it's destroyed.
idk how durable the s3 is and the s4 will be, but i've been using an s2 for a little over a year i think and i've dropped it numerous times, literally no damage to the thing. it's been dropped right on the bezel onto concrete at least 14 times and theres no damage other than a slight dent in the plastic bezel surrounding the phone. shits built like a tank

I've never dropped my s3 without a case, but I've stopped my phone onto asphalt and nothing bad happened, Idk why you'd not get a case, they're so useful

I've dropped my S3 a few times during the 9 months I've had it, and the only damage it has are a couple of small scratches on the screen that are only noticeable if you run your fingernail over them, they aren't easily visible with the naked eye. It's a great phone too.
Might upgrade to an S4, just gonna wait and see what our finnish operator is gonna price the upgrade process at.
the issue with the S3 isn't durability, it's that when it does break it's infinitely harder to repair and often left unusable
