Anamanaguchi should've won Innovation award, i fail to see any innovation in DeStorm's video
[editline]4th November 2013[/editline]
although congrats to Girls Generation for being a non-American group winning an award in a primarily American award show
I filled out an application to attend but apparently telling Tyler the creator I was a white kid who owned a supreme hat was not unique enough!

There are 1,000,000 other chiptune artists that aren't as over rated as Anamanaguchi, they should've given it to someone less known like FantomenK

honestly anything other than DeStorm's shit music video would've been fine
I'm a little disappointed that this wasn't more underground-oriented. Like, I almost expected these people to be winners before it even started
I did not like these people at first, but they were actually decent. they have good timing.
also the youtube music awards were too focused on big artists, disappointingly
there is no one worthwhile on youtube anyway.
there is no one worthwhile on youtube anyway.
original music has all moved elsewhere. and all the ameteur ~v-bloggers~ imitate the semi-famous ~v-bloggers~ and come up with nothing original.
youtube is real good for teenage girls with long hair and ukuleles or acoustic guitars covering pop songs.
Nothing for filthy frank?
bring back hanson
bring back hanson
fuck that
artist of the year eminem LOL
I have a feeling this was as spectacularly bad as the last time Youtube did a live event...
Nothing for filthy frank?
Too filthy for live streaming
they should focus on start up artist such as how someone suggested underground, seeing popular people like Eminem make it a little stupid
Too filthy for live streaming
He's only funny some of the time anyway, he's extremely spastic most of the time.
I have a feeling this was as spectacularly bad as the last time Youtube did a live event...
It was horrible
Epic Rap Battles should have won.
OC, high quality.
Haha the YouTube comments are priceless.
should i use google maps to find the• innovation?
How the hell can people like Taylor Swift and Eminem be in this kind of competition? They're already professional, successful artists, that happen to have songs on YouTube. People like Lindsey Stirling actually became a hit on YouTube, but the former two? Why were professionals even in this competition?

Because people don't want to hear a bunch of "nobodies" winning awards over their favorite pop-sensation of the season.

But isn't this just the kind of competition for that? For "nobodies" to win? Leave pop-sensations to the Grammy's or some shit.
smooth mcgroove should have won

Who said competitions had to be fair? You throw in a few big names and it makes people pay attention.
I think it's more marketing than anything.
Lindsey Stirling is pretty talented actually but the video in question she won an award for is utter, utter shite on the part of the group she was working with, the vocalist burst my eardrums.
Because people don't want to hear a bunch of "nobodies" winning awards over their favorite pop-sensation of the season.
It looks more like one last attempt to milk the dying careers of talentless has beens.
Jesus christ that video in the OP, could they have used more jump cuts.
SMOOTH MCGROOVE DESERVED AN AWARD.
