Demoman is a defense class, so unless all the demos in TF2 start camping with stickies, I don't think they stand a chance.

i dont get it, so whoever wins gets a new weapon, but how do they know who gets the weapons? do I have to sign up under a side and if that side wins I get teh gun?

So EVERYBODY who plays Soldier/Demoman can use the weapon. On top of that, BOTH classes are getting three weapons each regardless of who wins, so no class will be left out. The bonus is that whichever class kills the other the most by the end of the update week will get a fourth weapon.
