If you like this show, you're an idiot. Luckily seeing as how nobody on Facepunch is part of the core audience, I feel that I've insulted nobody here. That said, why would I bother writing about it here? Because I can honestly say the show is so bad, so horrendously terrible, that it warrants discussion.
Stolen from Wikipedia
The concept of the show revolves around Bugs and Daffy living in the suburbs of Los Angeles with "colorful neighbors" (AKA The rest of the cast, including some new ones). In the show, Bugs and Daffy are living in the same house.
That's just the fucking synopsis, and you know that they were already on the wrong track. I'm not going to lie and say I'm an avid fan of the old classic Looney Toons and claim to know all about the show, but everyone has seen the classic shorts at least once in their life and should know that this "new" show is complete shit. And I'd say I'm not being stubborn, or refuse to like new things. I remember really liking the Duck Dodgers show that showed on Cartoon Network. That was a great example of how to "modernize" the Looney Toons Characters, if they felt that was what they had to do.

Unfortunately for the entirety of the human race, The Looney Toons Show is what the current generation of kids will grow up with. I'd be okay if they decided they didn't want to just rely on slapstick humor and wanted to do something new and funny, but the simple fact is that they took these classic characters and put them in the most boring and mundane of situations. Here's a few of the things I witnessed on the show.
-Bugs and Porky eating at a restaurant, buying printer ink, and renting a car. The recurring theme is that Porky can't say no when pressured to buy more things.
-Daffy's snoring bothers Bugs, cause I guess they sleep in the same bed which is a topic for another discussion, so Daffy gets plastic surgery, leading his friends to worry about him.
- Bugs holds a party because he's afraid of being sued.
-An episode where Lola Bunny gives Daffy dating advice, and immediately falls for him when he practices her advice. It goes even further when Lola Bunny actually tries to seduce Daffy in the same manner as the Graduate.

I could barely contain my laughter :suicide:
But seriously, most of the time, it's showing the characters just doing average ordinary stuff, like grocery shopping, working (Bugs and Porky work at some office building), and dating. These situations try to play for laughs, but since the show seems to forbid any slapstick, it always fall on lame jokes from the characters which are never funny at all. While most of the laughs from the old show came from slapstick, there was also fun in seeing the backdrop and reason for gags, like Bugs and Daffy fighting over a genie's lamp, or Yosemite Sam and Bugs being dumped into the Wild West. Comparatively, this show always takes place in the stale and static suburbia that more or less renders Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam useless, and as such those two characters have been dramatically altered.
In short, I could keep going on about how bad this show is, but I would like to say the Road Runner shorts are passable. Not great mind you, but it's one part of the show that they didn't feel need changing, but sadly they are not always included in each episode. However, as if just to counter balance the only good aspect of the show, Merry Melodies show up more frequently, if not in every episode, and I'll just let you watch those yourself.
Elmer Fudd singing about masturbating to grilled cheese sandwiches.

Yosemite Sam singing about dealing with sexual impotency.

As bad as I make it out to be? You be the judge.
This show is like they took Looney Tunes and Seinfeld, mixed them together, then sucked out all the funny.

It's a commentary on the rigid structures of modern life and the show is really holding up a mirror to our society showing how dull our lives has become despite such fantastic characters like in real life and in the show. Really this is the smartest commentary on life in the 21st century along with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Jeezus, that Grilled Cheese song... :wtc:
There are no words for how much I hate this show.
Yosemite Sam rapping.
Kill me. It hurts to live.
The only decent aspect is the Road Runner segments and that's because they are using the same rules as Chuck Jones did
It's Looney Tunes
Also, since Fudd is voiced by Billy West, you can hear a little bit of Professor Farnsworth in his voice as he sings. It's funny.

Or maybe Zapp or Fry, I don't know. But you can definitely hear a Futurama voice in there.
Did some digging and found that Warner Brothers has been making some pretty decent CGI Loonet Tunes Cartoons. What they're for, I have no idea, but they're more true to the original cartoons then...this.

Two Road Runner Ones, These were apparently released as DVD bonus extras.

I'm loving that animation.

They broke one of the main rules of Road Runner shorts.
The road runner can never, EVER run anywhere but on the road.
In Chuck Amuck: The Life and Times Of An Animated Cartoonist,[11] it is claimed that Chuck Jones and the artists behind the Road Runner and Wile E. cartoons adhered to some simple but strict rules:
1. The Road Runner cannot harm the Coyote except by going "meep, meep."
2. No outside force can harm the Coyote—only his own ineptitude or the failure of Acme products. Trains and trucks were the exception from time to time.
3. The Coyote could stop anytime—IF he were not a fanatic. (Repeat: "A fanatic is one who redoubles his effort when he has forgotten his aim." —George Santayana).
4. No dialogue ever, except "meep, meep" and yowling in pain.
5. The Road Runner must stay on the road—for no other reason than that he's a roadrunner.
6. All action must be confined to the natural environment of the two characters—the southwest American desert.
7. All tools, weapons, or mechanical conveniences must be obtained from the Acme Corporation.
8. Whenever possible, make gravity the Coyote's greatest enemy.
9. The Coyote is always more humiliated than harmed by his failures.
10. The audience's sympathy must remain with the Coyote.
11. The Coyote is not allowed to catch or eat the Road Runner (The robot that the Coyote created in The Solid Tin Coyote caught the Road Runner so this does not break this rule. The Coyote does catch the Road Runner in Soup or Sonic but is too small to eat him.)
