What did those fuckers do? They abolished all of our institutions and rights, a fucking bitchslap to the face, and instead made us use the same ones as Castille. We also lost our right to talk Catalan, even Latin, we could only talk Castillian (Spanish). Basically, we were forbidden from all of our culture and history and turned the same shit as the rest of Spain. Though that was long ago and we recovered much of all that was lost, each 9/11 we celebrate this day after 1980, we all gather in Barcelona and we party and remember that day! I made this really small, if anyone is interested here you go: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Day_of_Catalonia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nueva_Planta_decrees So 9/11 is an important day not only for America, but for Catalonia! Now that you know it, let's conmemorate this day together :911: :spain:

Happy 9/11 everyone!
happy 9 11 woo
What did those fuckers did?
I was hoping you could tell me.
I was hoping you could tell me.
Damn my grammar and spelling
Catalonia is awesome, been there 3 times with school and loved it every time.
omg why are you celebrating your gay holiday you don't care about the holocaust clearly if you don't spend every waking day mourning the holocaust you are a selfish bastard
We should all drink ourselves into a stupor to celebrate!
It must suck when your public holiday is ruined by another country moping about something bad that happened
It must suck when your public holiday is ruined by another country moping about something bad that happened
oh I know right shame that the U.S. totally ruined their holiday because what happened on 9/11 in the U.S. totally isn't important or anything
Compared to other things, the terrorism on 9/11 is indeed not important. For example, I care more about whether or not I've had a glass of water than I care about some attack that happened hundreds of miles away almost a decade ago. Also, happy 9/11 for Catalunya.

PEOPLE DIED
PEOPLE DIED
150,000 people die every day, get over yourself.
omg that was 300 years ago clearly you should have gotten over it after 2 do you know what happened in the holocaust? PEOPLE DIED
Guess what, It was only on the XX century that we recovered our relatively independence and rights and stuff, and then it was all taken away again during Franco's dictadure which started in 1939 and lasted until the 70s after Franco's death. We entered a transition and we became a parlamentary monarchy late 70s. Catalonia shortly after regained it's stuff again. We couldn't even talk in Catalan until 3 decades ago. Lots of people died during the holocaust, yes, but I never said it was more important that the holocaust, nor either of them should be more important, for both are horrible things that happened and shouldn't happen again, and we must remember all of these things, incluiding de 9/11 and make sure they don't happen ever again. In this case, Catalonia, it's the opression against one people with its own culture and tradition, which has lasted a long time and we're finally able to grasp freedom. You decide what do you think on this, you're free to voice your opinion.
You people fail at reading Chilean sarcasm. Its a joke on people saying. "OMG LOOK AT THE HOLOCAUST MOAR PEOPLE DED.."
Que senor? Yo no comprendo... Adios mios. Muy bien OP, si, si.
9/11 truly is a wonderful day where great things happen! [editline]05:01PM[/editline] wait
This knowledge really helped me out OP: Also, it would seem no one on my friend's list knows about the difference between "your" and "you're", and that they genuinely give a shit about something that happened in another country 9 years ago when they were probably still reading picture-books. Edit: I cited wikipedia :v:.
Catalonians are hot too
Oh crap, worst day in the world for Futbol Club Barcelona to lose 2-0 to Hercules at home. That sucks :(
Mes que en cunt
Happy 9/11 everyone!
After all, it's a anniverstiy. Oh wait? Well you could say that, celebrate the lives of those who saved lives on the day.
Hurr durr it's old, so no one cares. Not saying anyone has said that yet, but I expect someone to. Edit; Didn't read everything, this is a good day apparently.
Los Catalanes a mi me parecieron ser muy arrogantes y mucho menos hospitalarios que los del centro o los Gallegos, no se, me parcen que son como los Argentinos de Espana.
