Something I made in Photoshop CS4. I like how it came out, just not really fond of the crater impact/explosion hole/whatever. Angle seems off, but that just might be me. Original size was 1920x1280. But that just adds stars, the planet/all that will remain the same, just move to the right top corner. If you really want it at that resolution, I'll upload it to my FTP temporarily, and provide a link. Feel free to be critical, just be fair. It's the only way I'll learn.
Very nice Can you make a star field with nebula and stuff ? make it 16:9 :)
Sure, why not? Also, 80 views, one comment. That has to be a record. :v: [editline]08:45PM[/editline] Also, what colour?
Light shoots out from the impact very... straight. I know there's no other way for light tp travel but straight, but the whole impact-part looks... unreal and edited. Not veru natural. But the overall look is great.
I do know that it's missing like... rock/planet particles, and I tried to work that in, but failed every time. Next time, when I'm doing a work like this again, I'll render out a sphere with a crater/eruption in 3DS Max first, and work off of that to get the correct perspective/angle.
1680x1050 and I'll use it. I loooooove space explosions.
Anywhere I can upload an image of such size?
