A group of friends at a cabin retreat scratch the surface of something so massive and horrific that they can only begin to fathom it as time quickly runs out.
well that's a vague description.
Written by Joss Whedon I'm seeing this. [editline]3rd December 2011[/editline] Also, I think that's a way better poster than the one I saw on Wikipedia a while ago.
They find out the cabin is a giant Rubik's Cube. D: I'm not sure what to think.
Vagueness is good, better than trailers that give away every good scene
No Bruce Campbell? No good. Hence Cabin Fever. If Bruce Campbell isn't in the cabin in the woods, it won't be that good.

Updated OP with trailer. [editline]6th December 2011[/editline] Just watched it. Holy shit, a new spin indeed.
looks awesome.
although the concept of a group of junkies hanging out in cabins at weekends is overused these days, this one doesn't seem that bad. Might give it a chance.
It's written by Joss Whedon, I've already bought tickets.
looked a bit cheesy but seems promising
although the concept of a group of junkies hanging out in cabins at weekends is overused these days, this one doesn't seem that bad. Might give it a chance.
You can easily tell from the trailer it's beyond that type of story.
Well, there is one dissapointment from the trailer: it pretty much tells us who dies before whom, but what ever. This movie looks awesome.
Well the force field is a nice touch from the normal horror movies. Also apparently this movie was finished last year but not one wanted to produce it or something like that. So this was before Chris Hemsworth was Thor. Probably why he agree'd it.
So...what's happeneing? some kind of government experiment on a bunch of stoner kids?
So...what's happeneing? some kind of government experiment on a bunch of stoner kids?
Gotta watch the movie to find out obviously.
The trailer makes it seem like some sort of semi-parody like scream. The concept with the control room and such looks really cool, but I'm a little bit afraid if the trailer spoiled a little to much.
looks interesting enough to give it a watch
It reminds me of The Initiative on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It would be cool if it turned out to be connected to that. It would be awesome if Sarah Michelle Gellar has a cameo in it. It would be EPIC if she played Buffy in it, even briefly.
I have a feeling this'll be rubbish, but I'll watch it anyway, looks pretty interesting.
Reminds me a little of Cube. Also, hey it's Topher from Dollhouse.
Well that looks better than I expected it to. I hope its good, I might actually watch it.
It's like when you find a dog in the control room at the end of Silent Hill. Also Cube.
That's the most generic trailer ever, 30 seconds in I thought it was a parody.
The base story was meant to be very generic, hence it's tagline is '' a new take on the classic horror formula'' and the whole '' Somebody is controlling the creeps from a control room '' stuff. Altough, I feel the movie would've been better if they didn't show the control room in the trailer and in the movie not until the end. It kind of spoils everything that way.
Yeah, I really felt that they ruined it by showing EVERYTHING.

(sort of) New trailer.
I swear to god this must be the 2301892391823th movie that starts with a group of young people in a car that want to go camping and ask someone for direction, and then get directed to their death.
