An employee died after being attacked by the animal at the WildCat Haven Sanctuary, according to the Oregonian. The facility cares for captive-born wildcats with a history of abuse or neglect. Further details about the attack have not yet been released. It was not immediately known how the caretaker died, whether it was an accident, or the animal escaped, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. "We are not a zoo for people but a safe haven for the animals in our care," the organization states. "Our rescues depend on us to provide for them. They trust we will keep them safe, comfortable, healthy and free from the pain and suffering they have experienced." Fire crews that responded to the incident had difficulty reaching the woman because there were many loose animals at the facility, reported TV station KPTV. It's sad to hear but unfortunately seemed like it was the nature of her job, she'd been attacked by one of the cats before and got away with only scars on her face.
I always liked wild cats, mainly since one of my older cats looked like one. never tried to kill me though since she was chill

Sorry to sound insensetive (spelling?) but how do you get killed by a cat? I'm genuinely curious. Sorry if dumb.
Big cat.
It was a tiger? I assumed it meant a regular sized cat (or a bit bigger, but not tiger size)
Smaller does not equal less deadly.
While that is true, wildcats are very similar to house cats. In fact they interbreed regularly. Although an aggressive enough domestic cat could potentially do a lot of damage as well I suppose.
It was also not clear what kind of cat killed the victim, but the incident is under investigation, the sheriff's office said. The sanctuary boasts bobcats, cougars and tigers, among other animals, its website said.
From the second article, so it was probably either bobcat, cougar or tiger.
