How does that....
Fuck, now I want skyrim now instead of monday.
I wonder...
If you could sneak up behind someone and do this to them without them seeing you first, could you use this technique to sneak past people?
Ultimate stealth.
I think it's because he took a sword. The bread and just be stolen without repercussion.

Suddenly, the basket becomes the essential tool in every thief's arsenal.

If you look at the stealth eye, it's gone when their faces are covered, then lights up once the kettle falls off that guy's head.

If that were true it wouldn't have the big red "STEAL" icon, like oblivion.

I want to see someone put baskets over all the guard's heads and murder everyone in the town.
Why not stalk the resident and break into his house, sneak up and kill him and take anything you want!

Because that's way less fun.
It's probably because physics objects are treated as visual obstructors like everything else. Otherwise, you could hide behind a barrel and be spotted.
This is actually really fucking cool
this is beautiful
i'm glad moving things no longer counts as stealing either
i can't count how many times i accidentally nudged a sword or something in a shop, and then had the imperial guard all over me
Oh my god it's genius.
"What are you doing that for?"
Inb4 Bethesda nerfs it
"Maybe you're looking for something *puts pot on head*...particular?"
I just love the timing.
Okay yeah fuck waiting I'm getting this.
I wonder if it works on dragons.
While it is pretty funny, that's pretty advanced that you can do that.
How do you drag/grab things now? I can't figure out which key it is
How do you drag/grab things now? I can't figure out which key it is
Hold down the use key.
holy shit this is fucking hilarious
oh god that is priceless
I do admit that is a great bug.
I envision myself walking in a city where EVERYONE has a bucket over their head, placed by me.
I'll be king, for I am the only one who can see.

I don't see how you "accidentally" nudge things.
There's a specified button for grabbing which you have to press in addition to be looking at an owned item.
Since you can grab things you can take all the stuff into a dark corner somewhere and stuff it into your backpack, like emptying the entire Silver Rush in FONV.
Oh wow, so every town now has its own bounty? and it actually shows it so you don't have to talk to a guard to see it, or go into your stats. This is good.
