Double-Click Studios - A Live-Recording "Let's Play" Channel - General

My friends and I decided that we're getting tired of the seemingly scripted (though admittedly humorous at times) Let's Plays that are floating around right now. We opted for a different approach - a live recording of us while we play. There is no post-process overdubbing - in fact, the only post-process editing is cutting out parts that don't really belong. We record the video all in one go (around 15 to 20 minute's worth), hack out parts that don't fit in, fix up the audio so it's nice and clear, tag on the intro and outro, and upload! That's the extend of our editing process! No strings attached! We try to be humorous (but not over-the-top), but I'll be the first to admit we don't always succeed (at either). But hey, that's the price you get for a completely unscripted narration while playing the game! We intend to do a cycle of games, going through a few games at a time, slowly progressing through each game until we finally come to a completion. All the while giving you some (hopefully) entertaining narration. Everyone knows games are better with friends, after all. Just posting this so you guys know about it, if you care. Not asking to be a fan or anything, though I would like if you at least check it out. If you like it, then we did our job. You can subscribe if you like, but if you can spread the word around, that'd be even better. Of course, criticism and comments are always welcome. We know we can't cater to everyone's humor, and we won't pretend like we can - just be honest about what you think. First off that intro needs to go it just seems plain tacky and doesn't do the video justice at all. Another thing is the game choice, Dead Space has been done countless times and it's really not all that fun to watch I would suggest maybe finding another game that hasn't been done a billion times before and easier to commentate about. The commentary is pretty okay though it could do with less forced jokes and more ontopic stuff (though I guess it's kinda hard for the first level). Anway it's pretty good for your first video just take the things above into consideration.

Everything that Dandy said + more. I just have to say that the intro sucked and you shouldn't do an intro. You should also find better games, less known games preferably. IE 4playerpodcast style Less forced jokes, let it come naturally Don't post it on facepunch unless you [B]know[/B] thats it going to be a success

I only laughed at one joke and it was because of how lame it was but good effort <3

Feels like too many forced jokes not enough actual comedy. B+ for effort though.
