Apple may be looking to solve some touch control complaints with a new controller.A rumor mentioned in an iPad 3 review from Anandtech.com hints one could be coming. "I know of an internal Apple project to bring a physical controller to market, but whether or not it will ever see the light of day remains to be seen," the article said.Companies such as Apple prototype lots of things that consumers never end up seeing, so this rumor shouldn't come as a complete surprise. A wireless controller could help ease the troubles some people with a touch-only device, though. For now we'll have to wait and see how this one plays out.
You forgot one.
* Revolutionary one button controls.
edit: Dammit Nomad.

You tap Morse code into it, and it has a text adventure parser ready to figure out what you want your game to do.
Truly revolutionary!

it just suffered from all the same problems as many apple products at the time, Trying to do way to damn much.
Eventually they decided to do nothing and came up with the iPod.
Eventually they decided to do nothing and came up with the iPod.
more like, they where on the verge of bankruptcy and the iPod was their last-ditch effort to stay afloat
It only works with iOS devices!
Sweet. Just hope this doesn't turn devs into lazy fucks who only support the controller and no touch controls though.
The controller's layout consist of a single wheel and a single button and it's shape consists entirely of rounded rectangles in glossy white.
It plays MP3 too.
Lets all chip in to buy one for Faze!

Wouldn't have USB support, so Faze would probably take a heart attack or something.

Nah, it would probably be Bluetooth, and require extensive dicking around in the settings to pair up instead of using NFC like modern phones.

This is pimpin, I've thought about buying one of these before. I'd buy it if it wasn't so expensive. If I eventually get that Asus Padfone, I'd get that and sit in the school's library playing emulators because I'm a lazy shit.
They're only doing this so they can patent every single aspect of it and make every game company have to pay them royalties for stuff they've been doing for decades.
-snip, just realized it.-
This is actually really good, as long as it's affordable, like within the $20 to $50 range.
Hope it doesn't overheat.

Just get a usb controller if you are getting an android tablet
It simply works
If you hold it at a certain angle does it lose its ability to control?
Lets hope its not as awful as apples mouses.

* piano black only, perfect if you want to collect your fingerprints
* you don't need buttons on a game controller so have this nice touchscreen
