Iranian President Hassan Rouhani gives a press conference in Tehran, Iran, Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014. Rouhani called Western sanctions an "invasion" on Saturday after Washington imposed existing sanctions on more than 25 businesses, banks and individuals suspected of working to expand Iran's nuclear program, support terrorism and help Iran evade U.S. and international sanctions. Iran's state TV also said the move violated an interim agreement reached with world powers under which Western nations agreed to ease sanctions in exchange for Iran curbing its nuclear activities.
on Saturday after Washington imposed existing sanctions
This doesn't make any sense. They are already there, as is said. But there is no source, either, so this is very questionable reporting.
whatcha gonna do faggot? nuke them?
I am in need of a source so I can read the rest of the article for more context and details. [editline]30th August 2014[/editline] Thanks!

Makes sense. You got to do what you got to do if you want to be the only world superpower with nukes.
Makes sense. You got to do what you got to do if you want to be the only world superpower with nukes.
We're not afraid of Iran blowing us up, we're afraid of Iran blowing itself up.
I'm sure if any country imposed economic sanctions on the US, America would consider it an act of war. Only seems fair it gets returned in kind.
From BBC: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-28997452
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has criticised the US for new sanctions, saying they are "not compatible" with the spirit of current negotiations. Speaking on Iranian TV, he said Iran was still committed to continuing nuclear talks with the US and five other international powers.
What a terrible headline followed by an equally terrible article used in the OP. The difference in war-like rhetoric is almost uncanny when comparing an article by an American news network and an international one.
"Sanctions are an invasion of the Iranian nation."
Is a general statement on sanctions made during his discontent with the new sanctions. The US media has a tendacy to make it appear as if America's enemies are always readying up for war.
Later Saturday, Rouhani told journalists at a news conference that the sanctions would not thwart the nuclear talks with world powers
What's the big deal exactly, is it very important to make Iran seem as threatening in the media as possible given he said this directly after? [editline]30th August 2014[/editline] Iran has mildly democratic elements too and that entails appeasing to hardliners with empty statements. Actions, not words are what ultimately matter.
