Harry Perry was seeking election in the Offerton ward in Stockport. Leader Nigel Farage had commented that his party contained "some idiots" but the reporting of problems within UKIP was "disproportionate". Another UKIP candidate resigned last week after making controversial remarks about comedian Lenny Henry. The party said on Friday it had started disciplinary proceedings against Mr Perry and did not condone his "crackpot" views.[/quote]
This happens pretty much every week and Farage is still desperately attempting to save face about it. Maybe he should ensure that most of his candidates aren't racist arseholes first before claiming that it's a few bad apples or a "disproportionate" problem.
What surprises me is that the people who say these stupid things don't realise that they'll get expelled for saying it despite seeing their colleagues expelled for saying similarly stupid things every other week.
I think it's fairly safe to assume at this point that virtually the entire party is made up of these people and they are desperately trying and failing to hide it.
Only 'some' idiots?
